Test To Testimony!

“to tell about the light so that everyone might believe because of his testimony.” John‬ ‭1:7‬ ‭ I went through a lot of things in the last few years, even since starting writing these blogs. I would catch myself questioning why God allowed the test to come, but as I began to pray I realized that how could I ever have a testimony without there first being a test? See we want the blessing but we don't want to wait, we want to find a spouse but not willing to go through heartbreaks before you find the right one, we want a new car but not willing to take anything less than a dream car, we want a new house but don't want to start with what we can afford for now, we want a new job but don't want to work at the one we have. Today, think about how everything in life starts with a test, when we learn to be content with where we are and where we want to be will come. When you pray for God to give you a testimony to tell remind yourself that it begins with the test. Here are some ver...

Read The Word Daily!

“Then he said to the crowd, “If any of you wants to be my follower, you must give up your own way, take up your cross daily, and follow me.” Luke‬ ‭9:23‬ ‭ Lately, I've been on a journey to establish a consistent Bible reading habit, and I'm excited to share that I've discovered a approach that's working for me. By creating a personalized Bible study plan, I've been able to dive deeper into topics that fascinate me, such as end-time studies. Each day, I read myself some scriptures, taking note of key insights and reflections. I've come to realize that while it's essential to nourish ourselves with the Word daily, consistency can be a challenge at times. My advice is to identify an area of the Bible that genuinely captivates you and start there, as if it were a tv show or any book you read. As you dive deeper, you'll likely uncover more topics that spark your curiosity and make you want to read even more! By committing to a daily reading practice, we can ...

Be Ready!

“And he will send out his angels to gather his chosen ones from all over the world—from the farthest ends of the earth and heaven.” ‭‭Mark‬ ‭13:27‬ ‭ The argument between pre-tribulation and post-tribulation views has been ongoing for as long as most can recall. These views essentially mean that some believe the children of God will be called up to heaven before the end times begin, while others believe this will happen after all the signs have occurred and Jesus comes on the cloud. Personally, I have always believed in the post-tribulation view, after the coming of Jesus. I believed this because who would spread the Gospel to lost souls if all Christians were gone? Tonight, I sat down for a Bible study and read in depth most of Mark 13. I read the verse at the top of this blog and realized that the post-tribulation view is correct. The verse right before it says that Jesus came on a cloud. That confirms that it happens after the coming of Jesus. Although knowing which view is correct ...

Time Is Nothing!

“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.”Genesis‬ ‭1:1‬ ‭ My question was what was time and days before the creation? I went to someone I trust with the question and they explained to me in a way I not only understood but it gave me a true revelation of it. We tell time by the sun rising and setting, the moon rising and setting also. We know the time of day now by clocks but before clocks it was by seasons, and through the sun aligning in the sky. When God created the earth He created the sun, the moon and all the stars, all at the time of creation. Before those were created there was no concept of time. When we read our Bibles we hear about eternity, that is also not based on time, once we are there. It is hard for us to comprehend the fact that there is no time, but time is not a thing in Heaven. I thought on this and how we only need the time when we have somewhere to be, somewhere to go, or something to see. Today, know that God doesn't need time to work in your...

His Plan Over Your Plan!

“May he grant your heart’s desires and make all your plans succeed.” Psalms‬ ‭20:4‬ ‭ Dream big, God will give you the desires of your heart. Knowing that we as people often struggle to achieve our dreams can often be harmful to our motivation. We have to trust that God will open the doors for us to find the way to our dreams, but in the mean time we should always do our best. We cannot expect God to do everything for us. We have to take the steps that we can, but we also should not make things that we want to happen. We cannot force what God has planned for our lives that is why it is so important to pray and ask God for guidance before we make a choice like pursuing a new career, buying a new car or house, getting into a relationship or things of that nature. We have to realize our choices like that do tend to make a huge impact on us. Today, although you have a dream in your heart don't forget to ask God what is best for you. His plan is better than you can ever imagine. Here ar...

In The Perfect Will Of God!

“For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.” Ephesians‬ ‭2:10‬ ‭ If you are supposed to be there God will get you there! I know I recently wrote on Moses, the Israelites and the Red Sea, but this quote reminded me of it again. The Israelites were meant to be chased to the Red Sea to drown their enemies out. Mary and Joesph were meant to be in Bethlehem for Jesus to be born. Jonah was meant to preach in Nineveh although he had ran for a while. Jesus was meant to be in the garden when they found Him, so He could save us from all of our sins. Peter was meant to be in the crowd when he denied Jesus, just as Jesus had prophesied to him before. There are so many stories in the Bible that God lined up timing so that things would happen just as planned, but what I am getting at is if God wants you to be somewhere things will line up even things out of your control. God will make a way for things to happen even ...

God Wants You To Succeed!

“May he grant your heart’s desires and make all your plans succeed.” Psalms‬ ‭20:4‬ ‭ God wants nothing more than for you to succeed. He sets us up for success all the time. See we all want our plans to succeed but have we ever stop to think that the plans God has for us could be even better than we have for ourselves? Our plans are often not as good because we tend to think we are not qualified enough. There are so many people in the Bible that had struggles. Think of Moses, He had problems speaking but God used Him to speak. God can use you no matter what you struggle with. Today, ask God to help you succeed in the ways  that He wants for you! He can open doors for you that no one can ever shut. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “Commit your actions to the Lord, and your plans will succeed.” Proverbs‬ ‭16:3‬ ‭ “David continued to succeed in everything he did, for the Lord was with him.” 1 Samuel‬ ‭18:14‬ ‭ “You will succeed in whatever you choose to do, and light will shi...

He Will Make A Way!

“He made a dry path through the Red Sea, and his people went across on foot. There we rejoiced in him.” Psalms‬ ‭66:6‬ ‭ He makes a way even when we don't see it yet. I was talking to my dad about how often times we are going through something and we see no way that God can fix it, and in the split of a miracle happens and God makes a way for us. I then proceeded to tell him how it reminded me of the story of Moses and the Israelites. They were running from Pharaoh and the Egyptians, the Israelites and Moses came to the shore of the Red Sea. That is a sea you cannot swim across. They were being chased for fleeing from the slavery. If the Egyptians caught up they would be in a war. I can only imagine the panic that set in for them, knowing they were being chased and ending up at a dead end. In a moments time God spilt the Red Sea and let them cross. The Egyptians and Pharaoh was drowned in the Red Sea. God not only made a way but God handled the revenge. Today, if you're in a si...

God's Love Is Real!

“This is real love—not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins.” 1 John‬ ‭4:10‬  ‭God's love is not based on you, or how you choose to live your life, but you eternity is. God is going to love us no matter what, He created us. He never expected us to be perfect, He did expect us to believe and have faith in Him. We can make mistakes in life, we can be forgiven but we can never stop believing in God. We have to keep our eyes on the fact that we know our mistakes are forgiven, we are free and most of all we are loved. His love would not be the only kind of love we cannot find in any human if He did not love us no matter what we do. There are so many stories in the Bible that show a true example of His unwavering love, but my favorite has to be the story of Jonah. Jonah ran from God, ended up in the belly of a whale but God still loved Him and used Him as an example. Know that no matter what you have done God loves you and can use ...

Speak The Name Of Jesus!

““Through faith in the name of Jesus, this man was healed—and you know how crippled he was before. Faith in Jesus’ name has healed him before your very eyes.”‭‭Acts of the Apostles‬ ‭3:16‬ ‭ Speak the name of Jesus over what you are praying for! The name of Jesus being spoken is mountain moving, speak it and watch how things move. There is no other name that has the power like the name of Jesus does. When life is hard, we speak Jesus. When life is good, we speak Jesus. When life is unpredictable we speak Jesus. In every aspect of life we speak Jesus. Speaking His name is speaking our faith, it is proving that we believe what we are praying for and trusting God to take care of it for us. There has never been a time that I have spoken the name of Jesus and not felt a power move within minutes. His name is the greatest, the highest. His name is what helps us overcome. Today, in prayer speak the name pf Jesus over your life, your circumstances, your family, your animals, your friends, your...

You Can See Miracles Now!

“History merely repeats itself. It has all been done before. Nothing under the sun is truly new.” Ecclesiastes‬ ‭1:9‬ ‭ Today was the Inauguration for President of the United States of America. After spending most of my day watching ceremonies and events I began to think of how I was literally watching history unfold in front of my eyes. One day in a school someone will set and learn of how theses events came to pass and how we have watched them ourselves unfold. I then began to think about how amazing it would have been to be living in the day of Jesus' on earth. Imagine the things we would have gotten to witness. The miracles, prayers, lessons and so much more we would have seen. Today, know that although we weren't alive in the same time as Jesus was on earth we can know Him just as well as if we were. We can witness amazing events that Jesus has done for and around us everyday if we choose to. God is at work, everyday all day. Jesus is still doing miracles everyday, we just...

Truly Know God!

“Then he said to the crowd, “If any of you wants to be my follower, you must give up your own way, take up your cross daily, and follow me.” Luke‬ ‭9:23‬ ‭ Being taught about Jesus and choosing a relationship with Him are two different things. There was a trend on social media going around where you show a picture of you as a child listing why you knew Jesus, then a little older and then now. My reasoning as a child was, I knew Jesus because my dad was a pastor and my parents told me all about Him. As I got older I knew Him because I was in a youth group and began to get to know Him for myself. Now, I know Him because I have a relationship with Him, He freed me from anxiety and I live in peace through Him everyday. See in life we go through stages, at times we're a different person than we were before and in the future will be. We will know who Jesus is but what matters is the effort we make in a relationship with Him. Knowing God is great but having a relationship with Him is waki...

Choose Your Loyalty.

“Their loyalty is divided between God and the world, and they are unstable in everything they do.” James‬ ‭1:8‬ ‭ The whole point of our existence is to prove the point that we want to live for God. If we are not willing to worship God here on earth how do we expect to do it for an eternity. We have a free will to choose what we want to do with our time. We can choose the life of wild parties, hanging around people that are a bad influence for us, running from God and spending time chasing meaningless things that lead us to sins. Rather, we should be living our lives chasing God, reading our Bible, listening to worship music and chasing things that will last forever. God wants us to prove to Him our loyalty and faith while we are living our lives. Today, make the effort to prove to God that you want to live for Him forever. Your choices matter, as they prove who you are truly loyal to. Your loyalty will tell a lot about who your heart is truly following, the world or Jesus. Here are so...

He Will Meet You Half-Way!

““If a man has a hundred sheep and one of them wanders away, what will he do? Won’t he leave the ninety-nine others on the hills and go out to search for the one that is lost?” Matthew‬ ‭18:12‬ ‭ Thinking God would leave the 99 to save 1 seems kind of ridiculous until you're that one. Knowing that in every aspect of your life He has watched you rise, fall, accomplish, fail, love, hate, smile and be broken but there has never been a moment that He did not want you. That is the definition of His true love and grace. We would never be who we are meant to be if He didn't meet us where we are. That is the amazing part, when He leaves the 99 to find the one He doesn't expect you to be in a place of perfection, He expects you asking for His help. He will guide you in the right ways. Today, if you've drifted from God know that it only takes one prayer to be welcomed home. He wants to come find you. You are the one and He will leave the 99. Know that you are loved and forgiven, ...

Be Still!

““Be still, and know that I am God! I will be honored by every nation. I will be honored throughout the world.””Psalms‬ ‭46:10‬ ‭ Be still and know that God is working. It's so difficult sometimes to sit back and relax knowing God is in control. We so often want to take things into our own hands and make them happen. We can want something so bad that we end up chasing it, only to realize it wasn't quite the right time. Maybe instead of chasing we should pray and watch God bring it to us instead. He doesn't need help to make things happen, He needs your faith. Today, if you're struggling by wanting to make something happen know that it is better to be still. Wait on God and watch how He works it out for your good. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “Be still in the presence of the Lord, and wait patiently for him to act. Don’t worry about evil people who prosper or fret about their wicked schemes.”Psalms‬ ‭37:7‬ ‭ “Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courage...

Your Circle Matters.

“As iron sharpens iron, so a friend sharpens a friend.”Proverbs‬ ‭27:17‬ ‭ I recently reconnected with an old friend. We hadn't talked in years but contacted each other and realized we have gone through similar things in the last few years. This evening I had that friend on my mind, I sent a message letting them know I was praying for them and had been thinking of them. They replied, saying that their whole way home from work they had been thinking about sending a verses to me. I knew in that moment God brought our friendship back together for a reason. See, we tend to say that who we surround ourselves with doesn't matter. It matters, just like in the verses that I based this blog on we are here to uplift each other. A friend that is encouraging and helps you grow closer to God is so important. Today, if you have a friend that is a blessing from God, thank God for sending them to you in the right moment. If you're still praying for that friend, then know in the right momen...

His Plan Over Your Own!

“We can make our plans, but the Lord determines our steps.” Proverbs‬ ‭16:9‬ ‭ For a very long time I struggled with trying to force things to go the way I wanted them to go. I wanted it to be the plans I had for myself and no other way. I ended up getting what I asked for in many ways, my plans over God's plans. We can make something happen for ourselves but that will never make it the plan God had for us. Although I personally feel that when we repent, and ask God to forgive the fact that we made things happen as our own plans the He will forgive us and bless us where we are. We cannot ask God to fix and give us His plan when we made it clear to God we wanted our own plan. Today, if you're in a position of being impatient with waiting on God's plan, then stop and wait. Trust me when I say it's better to wait for God's plan for you, thank make your own plans happen. Waiting for God will never be a mistake, and that is something I can promise. Here are some verses t...

God Prepares The Called.

“For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.” Ephesians‬ ‭2:10‬ ‭ God doesn't call the prepared, He prepares the called. I've written about this before but thought I should again because it has been a while. I felt called to write, I thought at first it might be books, but fin't know for certain. I then realized it was blogs, and decided to start these. The more I done them the more I learned how to. In school I struggled with grammar/English. I had to end up having a tutor as I was having a really hard time with it. My parents got me a tutor who came to the school for that class and she would teach me one on one instead of in the class with others. I done much better after that. It was embarrassing as a kid everyone knowing I had a tutor. Looking back it was apart of God's plan. It would be years before I would start blogs but it helped me know how to make proper sentences and how to do ...

Worth The Wait.

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ God's plan is always worth the wait. We as humans are so quick to try and make things happen on our timing, when we don't know what is coming next. I remember a time in my life God told me to be patient and wait, I waited for a while and decided it was time to give up I was bored. I made things happen on my own and looked back to wishing I had of waited for God to open the door instead of me doing it myself. It wasn't what I thought it would be and would have been better if I had waited for God to choose what would be next. We cannot take things into our own hands and ask why God allowed things to happen. We each have a free will but that also means we have a choice to choose what we want or what God has chosen for us. What God chooses for us will always be better than what we can make happen for ourselves. His timing is perfect and we need to be patient. Today, when ...

Find The Motivation.

“Never stop praying.” ‭‭1 Thessalonians‬ ‭5:17‬ ‭ Motivation is something we all need to keep ourselves going. Often times we become lazy in our relationships with God not meaning to. We put off that prayer before bed because we are too tired, that devotional we promised we'd start because we got too busy, that prayer journal we'd start to remind ourselves of the prayers God has answered, and we even start to put off going to church because we don't want to wake up in enough time or we have somewhere else to be. When we let the devil start letting us take those small steps towards letting go of the things that help us grow closer to God we find ourselves in a place where we don't even recognize the once perfect relationship with God. We have to motivate ourselves to grow closer to Him everyday. I have found that reminding myself of the blessings, healing and miracles He has done for me makes me want to praise Him everyday all day. Knowing I am saved through Him pushes m...

And, He Did Handle It!

““So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today.” Matthew‬ ‭6:34‬ ‭ Today we got snow, just as I prayed God did handle it. Yesterday's blog is a testimony, the roads were clear and I was able to drive. God had it handles all along, He knew that it was going to come to that but He also knew that He would make a way out for me. I was worrying for nothing. How many times in life do we worry about things that God already has taken care of? The moment that I said that prayer God made a way for me. Today, know that the prayers you have and are praying are being heard. This is the proof that God will handle it. Read this testimony as proof that God does have it handled so don't worry. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.” Matthew‬ ‭6:33‬ ‭“And if God cares so wonderfully for wildflowers that are here today and throw...

God Has It Handled!

““In that day, I will answer,” says the Lord. “I will answer the sky as it pleads for clouds. And the sky will answer the earth with rain.” ‭‭Hosea‬ ‭2:21‬ ‭ God has already handled what you're praying about. I have been in prayer all day about circumstances. It's predicted to snow, and I have worried about the roads getting bad. Where we live in the south if we get 2 inches of snow we freak out and think no one can drive on the roads, because we aren't experienced. I prayed all day that God would protect us through it if there’s were to get bad. When in prayer I got a sign, it was a quote that said,"God has already handled what you're praying about." In that moment I felt a peace come over me, know that God was telling me not to worry. The Bibles says only worry about today, because tomorrow will have the worries of its own. Today, let go of that worry knowing the moment that you prayed God is saying He has it handled. Don't worry and don't stress, Go...

God Will Provide.

“And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others.” 2 Corinthians‬ ‭9:8‬ ‭ You prayed and God provided. When you pray mountains begin to move, God can and will do the impossible for you in life. When you started praying for that miracle God started working on it, He knew it would come to this but He also knew that He would find a way out for you. Your troubles, pain and fear have no hope when Jesus steps in. He knows the needs of your heart and He will heal every ounce of pain, and fear if you allow Him to. Know that God is at work in your life today. He wants to help you if you will allow Him to. Today, give all your worry's and burdens to God. He knows the way to help you overcome, here are some verses to reflect on today. “Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.” Matthew‬ ‭6:33‬ ““So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bri...

His Promise Will Come.

“For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah‬ ‭29:11‬  ‭Hold on to God's promises everyday. We can count on God's word no matter what. We as humans tend to make promises we don't keep, often times that is due to unforeseen circumstances. Something we could not ever predict or plan for, but we intended to keep the promise. Although we aren't able to keep our promises it is not the same for God. He knows what the future holds, He knows the circumstances will come, He looks ahead of that. God made a promise to me years ago, things happened that made me think that things wouldn't come to pass after all. Through all the things I faced I held on to that promise knowing Gods word never would change, since He made that promise He knew the problems would come, which means that He would know a way out for me. He knew that I would overcome all the problems but I would also get to...

Small Step, Big Plan!

“Give your complete attention to these matters. Throw yourself into your tasks so that everyone will see your progress.” 1 Timothy‬ ‭4:15‬ ‭ A little progress everyday adds up to big success. Sometimes we tend to feel discouraged, that the small things we are doing isn't adding up to much. Sometimes we need to go to God with the discouragement and find hope through Him. He can uplift us when we tend to think what were doing isn't enough. Know that the small progress you're making is something big. I was once truing to overcome something I took small steps towards the goal each day, some days I stayed in my comfort zone and took a small step the next day. The pace of how you get there doesn't matter, it just matters that you get there. God has huge plans for us, and He knows we have dreams. Today, take small steps toward what God has for you, if you find yourself feeling discouraged go to God for strength. He can uplift you. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “Do ...

You Don't Have To Be In Control!

“Jesus responded, “Why are you afraid? You have so little faith!” Then he got up and rebuked the wind and waves, and suddenly there was a great calm.” Matthew‬ ‭8:26‬ ‭ We all feel the need to constantly be in control of situations and things in life, but at some point coming to the conclusion that God is in control is a good thing. We all deal with the need to be in control, and sometimes it bothers us when we aren't. We want to choose what job we have, the school our children or even ourselves will attend, where we will live, what car we will drive, when things will happen, even how things will happen, but life doesn't always work that way. Sometimes it's best that we don't know every detail. I remember this time last year I was praying for a miracle in my life, God made a promise to me that it would come to pass. I sat and wondered a lot on how or when it would happen and I would ask God for details. He responded to me and said, "The day it will happen you will ...

What You Once Prayed For.

“Whatever is good and perfect is a gift coming down to us from God our Father, who created all the lights in the heavens. He never changes or casts a shifting shadow.”James‬ ‭1:17‬ ‭ At random times it truly occurs to me just how blessed that I am. We often take things for granted, and tend to forget that the life we are now living is a prayer we once prayed. I look at my life a year ago and then look at it now and see the way God changed every aspect in all the ways I prayed for. I truly am living the life I once prayed to have. How many times are we grateful for something for a moment when we first receive the blessing but tend to begin to take it for granted once we have had it for a while. We all are guilty of this and at times we even forget that God is the only reason we have the things that we do. Today, take time to tell God just how grateful you are for the things you have. The way you now have things you once prayed for, know that someday you will receive the things you'r...

This Is A New Day!

“Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning.” Lamentations‬ ‭3:23‬ ‭ It is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it. We should let the joy of the Lord rule our day. We should wake up every morning rejoicing in the Lord for blessing us with another beautiful day. Everyday is a fresh start, the Bible teaches us that His mercies renew every morning. We should live each day as a new page in our lives. We are meant to live freely in Christ. That means we are free and have free will to do whatever we want with our day, but we also have to have self discipline and live righteously. Today, live today in the joy of the Lord using this day as a new page in your life. The problems and trials of yesterday are in the past and today is a new day to thank the Lord our God for. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “Therefore, since God in his mercy has given us this new way, we never give up.” 2 Corinthians‬ ‭4:1‬ ‭ “Satisfy us each morning with your unfai...

Change Can Start Today!

“Come close to God, and God will come close to you. Wash your hands, you sinners; purify your hearts, for your loyalty is divided between God and the world.”James‬ ‭4:8‬ ‭ You don't have to change before you go to God, going to Him is what changes you. I read a quote once that said why would we cleanse ourselves before we shower when that is what cleanses us? Why do we think we need to change before we can gain a relationship with God when the relationship is what changes us. When we find a relationship with God we begin to feel convicted to change into better versions of ourselves, we then become better than what we once were. God cleanses us of those sins we once committed. We are changed once we develop the relationship with God. He will show you the things you need to change if you truly humble yourself before Him. Today, draw near to God even if you haven't changed those things you feel you need to, the change can start today if you draw close to God. Here are some verses ...

New Year Same God!

“God also bound himself with an oath, so that those who received the promise could be perfectly sure that he would never change his mind.” Hebrews‬ ‭6:17‬ ‭ Although the New Year is here remember that God is still the same God. The same miracles He done last year, He can do again. God doesn't age or change, He doesn't forget or run out of motivation, He is not like us. He is always the same, working miracles in every way and doing that everyday. Like I wrote about yesterday we have to stop limiting God in this New Year and see the miracles He will perform for us. He has got all things in His hands and is fully in control. This New Year I feel will be a year of blessings, hope, strength, joy and peace. I also feel that God is going to reveal a lot of things to the world about the end of times, if we are willing to listen to them. If we are going into this New Year with a mindset of God can do the impossible then He will do the impossible. Don't doubt what God can do this yea...
