Search For The Godly One.

“But the Lord said to Samuel, “Don’t judge by his appearance or height, for I have rejected him. The Lord doesn’t see things the way you see them. People judge by outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”” 1 Samuel‬ ‭16:7‬ ‭ To a worldly woman a Godly man seems boring, but to a Godly woman a Godly man is like finding a treasure. When we are searching for "the one" we often times look over them because of their outward appearance, but God doesn't choose someone based on their looks, He chooses someone based on their heart! When looking for a relationship stop looking at the way someone looks on the outside and start to try to learn their heart. When you really want a relationship that lasts it has a lot less to do with how someone looks, and what they wear but more on how they love God, treat others and you! When someone has a true relationship with God their hearts will reflect His love, His care, and all for His glory. Today, if you're searching for the o...

The Real End Goal!

“Remember, it is sin to know what you ought to do and then not do it.” James‬ ‭4:17‬ ‭ Living life to the fullest might seem fun for a moment but would it be fun enough to spend an eternity in hell? Having fun is okay when you choose to do it in the right ways and with the right people. God knows we aren't going to be perfect, but He wants us to try to do things right. The Bible teaches us that when we know what to do and don't do it it is a sin. Jesus' blood was sent to cover our sins but not to be taken advantage of. When we have a choice to do things right we should try our best to do right. You cannot let living life to the fullest become more important than the end goal, that being eternity. When God gives us a choice to spend eternity with Him, He also gives us free will to choose which paths to take in life. Make sure what you're choosing to be in your life, who you're surrounding yourself with, and the things you're doing are good because nothing is wort...

His Timing, Not Yours!

“The smallest family will become a thousand people, and the tiniest group will become a mighty nation. At the right time, I, the Lord, will make it happen.”” Isaiah‬ ‭60:22‬ ‭ Be patient and wait on the Lord! His way of doing things is usually never on the same timetable that we want it to be. I have had times in my life when I felt like I prayed forever for something to happen, and God did it for me but it was at the most unexpected time. As a kid, we are always told we don't get everything we want when we want it, but as an adult sometimes that's really hard to understand because sometimes it feels like life moves faster than we can even think or pray for something. One of the best things about God is although time seems to move fast for us, it doesn't for Him. He sees everything and He sees every battle in life we face before it comes. Today, trust God's timing and don't lean to your own understanding of things it will always fail you, but God never will! He know...

Your Path Matters.

“And now, just as you accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord, you must continue to follow him.” Colossians‬ ‭2:6‬ ‭ The world tells us to have a "glo up" but what we really need is to glo up in God! When we find ourselves and our worth in God then we mature and grow into the best versions of ourselves ever. We oftentimes try to change ourselves to please the world but when we do that we only become someone we aren't meant to be. When we do choose to change ourselves into the person God wants us to be then we become all that we are meant to be. The best "glo up" we could ever have is when we grow in Christ! Jesus gave His life so that we can live freely in Him and be the person He knows we can be. You have free will in your life to choose which path you take whether to be what the world wants you to be or what God wants you to be. Your choice determines more than what others see you as, it also determines your eternity. Today, make sure your glo up is in Christ and n...

You Deserve More.

“But the Lord said to Samuel, “Don’t judge by his appearance or height, for I have rejected him. The Lord doesn’t see things the way you see them. People judge by outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”” 1 Samuel‬ ‭16:7‬ ‭ God has so much more for you than you have for yourself. So many times in life we accept the bare minimum just because we think that is what we deserve. Sometimes it's easier for us to see the worth of others rather than ourselves. The reason it's easier to see what someone else is worth is because your worst critic is yourself. You have to come to a place where you realize that you deserve anything and everything that God chooses to give you. This verse is so deep once you really think about it. When we look at ourselves in the mirror we mostly look at the way our face is shaped, the way we smile, our weight, or anything else we judge about ourselves, but God doesn't look at any of that, instead He looks at our hearts, something we cannot s...

Miracles Will Happen!

“Faith shows the reality of what we hope for; it is the evidence of things we cannot see.” ‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭11:1‬ ‭ This week is going to be the week that you keep saying, "It was only God, He made a way when I saw no way." God is going to open doors that you've prayed for weeks, months, or maybe even years for. He is going to show that the whole time you've been praying He has been listening. God's timing is best and when this door opens it will be perfect. When we go to give someone we love a gift we don't want it to be halfway done, we want it to be perfect for them. When God goes to give us a gift He doesn't want to give us something we either aren't ready for or that isn't quite ready, He wants it to be perfect for you. This is the week to expect miracles, claim your miracle! God loves to see us being full of faith! Today, get ready and have unexplainable faith for this week that doors will open and miracles will happen. Miracles happen when we sho...

Where He Anoints He Will Also Appoint!

““I know all the things you do, and I have opened a door for you that no one can close. You have little strength, yet you obeyed my word and did not deny me.” Revelation‬ ‭3:8‬ ‭ David didn't submit a resume but God still told Samuel about him. I pray that God speaks your name to someone who can take you to the next level. Whatever it is you're looking to move up in whether it be your job, finding a new home, having a position to help more in your church, doing something for school sports, or just moving up in anything, then know that God can speak to anyone and find your way up for you. We often times feel forgotten about and like things are never going to change, but just when you think it's over and too much time has passed God does a miracle. You will get that promotion, that new house, that new car, that relationship, you'll make it on that sports team, you'll have a place to help in the church and it will be at the perfect moment that God knew you needed to be...

Thankful At All Times.

“Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever.” Psalms‬ ‭107:1‬ ‭ Whether you spent the day surrounded by friends, family or those you have chosen as family today is the day to be thankful for all the blessings we have. We sometimes forget that being thankful for the small things counts! Be thankful for even the small details in your life, sometimes we will look back and realize those were big things! The people we are surrounded by count. I always think of those who don't have a family or a group of friends to spend today with, and I always feel hurt for them. The one thing they still have is God. Today, if you were surrounded by those you love be thankful for just that, you had people to be surrounded by. If you had no one to spend today with, be thankful for what you do have, the right people will come into your life but until then be thankful that the one who created you and loves you more than anyone on this earth can is by your side always. You...

Parting Your Red Sea.

“Pick up your staff and raise your hand over the sea. Divide the water so the Israelites can walk through the middle of the sea on dry ground.” Exodus‬ ‭14:16‬ ‭ The story of God parting the Red Sea for Moses and the people of Israel. The thing is when they reached the Red Sea they didn't have forever to cross it, they were in a rush. They were being chased because they had escaped. When we are in a situation of having to run from life's circumstances and we are on a time crunch we oftentimes think that God can't work in the little time that we have, but God doesn't need a certain amount of time to work things out. In the same way God made a way for the Israelites and Moses, He can make a way through the troubles you are facing. The moment you prayed for that miracle, healing, or help God started working out the details right then. He will part any Red Sea you face in life. Today, pray and trust God with the rest. If you do what you have to do God will do His part. Here...

You Can Be Healed.

“But Jesus said, “Someone deliberately touched me, for I felt healing power go out from me.”” Luke‬ ‭8:46‬ ‭ We all have trauma from the past, we carry the baggage of it looking for a way to heal from it. The best way for us to heal from anything in life is to ask God for healing. When we read the way that Jesus healed others throughout His journey on earth, most people assume it was only when He was physically here in His earthly body. The truth is He is still healing people today. Many people you know and meet are walking examples of what God can do in your life too. He can heal you the same today, grab the helm of His robe. He can heal today the same as He did in the Bible. Today, whatever healing you need or trauma you need healed from ask God to heal you. Healing from Him might not come in the same form that it did for me, but mark my words He will come through for you. You can still be healed no matter how long you've dealt with things in your life. Here are some verses to re...

True Peace!

“Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.” Philippians‬ ‭4:7‬ ‭ Peace is something we all search for and need, God's peace is the only peace that will ever last. When we search for peace in life we oftentimes turn to the world for it, which is the kind of peace that lasts for only a moment. The true peace that comes from God lasts a lifetime. Each of us carries stress in our lives and things we deal with but the best way for us to deal with the baggage we carry is to ask God to give us the peace to deal with things beyond our control. When the worries and stress of life come like waves, we have a Savior who walks on water. He can give you the peace you're searching for. Today, if you're looking for peace in your life the map for it is very simple, It's God! Ask God to give you His peace that we cannot even understand. When life feels tough, God can give you the...

Be Thankful!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't be surprised when God answers your prayers. We oftentimes think that God has forgotten us and the things we ask for but when we learn to be thankful for what we have that's when God gives us more. God loves to see us have a grateful heart. This week is Thanksgiving, each day this week spend five minutes in prayer not to ask for anything but to simply thank God for all that He has done. When we start a job we have to prove we can handle the first part before we are promoted to higher. If you want a promotion in your blessings then start by appreciating what you already have. God blesses those who give Him glory and live for Him every day not just when we want something. Today, be thankful and spend time in prayer telling God how thankful you are for Him and that He has given you. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “Enter his g...

You Are Loved.

“And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love.” Romans‬ ‭8:38‬ ‭ There has never been a day in your life where God didn't love you. This verse explains true unconditional love. Nothing in all of creation can ever separate us from God's love. As humans, we sometimes think that when we don't do something exactly right, or completely wrong that God stops loving us, but His love has no boundaries. His love doesn't stop because of us failing, or turning our backs on Him, if that were true He wouldn't leave the ninety-nine to find the one. He will come to find us where we are as long as we are trying to have a relationship with Him. Although He loves us and wants to save us, He also gives us free will to live as we please and choose for ourselves. Today, remind yourself there has ...

The Future Matters.

“For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” ‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭29:11‬ ‭ You need to take charge of your own life and make choices that your future self will be proud of. We oftentimes make choices that make the person we are today happy, instead of thinking about if we will be happy with that decision in twenty years. Will your future self be proud of the choices you're making in this moment? Will you wish you had done things differently? Sometimes you have to think of what you will want later in life, not what is now. Now you might be happy but working the same job for years could get boring, are you choosing the person you want to be with based on looks that will fade or on their faith and your compatibility, will the house you're choosing be something worthwhile or something that will constantly need work, and most of all are the efforts you're putting into your relationship with God hel...

His Mercies Renew.

“Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning.” Lamentations‬ ‭3:23‬ ‭ We each have days when we feel like we have failed. Whether it be as a mom, dad, son, daughter, friend, or even a child of God, we sometimes feel as though we fail others and ourselves. The good thing about God is His mercies renew each morning. If you feel like you didn't do good enough today, try harder tomorrow. Ask God to guide you and show you how you can do better in each aspect of your life. God wants to see each of us succeed in life and be all that He created us to be. You will never fail when you have God behind you, beside you, and within you. God is the one person who will never give up on you. Today, when you feel like you've failed, know that His mercies renew each morning. Tomorrow will be a new day, with new ways to succeed. You have to make the choice and choose to be successful every day, you have to want to be all that He wants you to be. Tomorrow will be a better day, ...

One Master.

““No one can serve two masters. For you will hate one and love the other; you will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and be enslaved to money.”” Luke‬ ‭16:13‬ ‭ At times we get so caught up in how others view us and their opinions of us that we forget when God calls us He also equips us. The opinion of you by others amounts to nothing in the eyes of God, He looks at the heart. He knows your notice behind every move you make, He sees all and He knows all. Their opinions don't change what God sees in them. The day that God created you in your mother's womb is the day He called you for all that He knows you can do. No one's opinion of you can change what God knows about you. God wants your loyalty you cannot serve two masters, that being the world's opinion and God's. You have to come to a place in your life where you realize what others think doesn't amount to anything with what all God knows about you. He still uses us after all He kno...

What Jesus Wants You To Be!

“You should clothe yourselves instead with the beauty that comes from within, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is so precious to God.” 1 Peter‬ ‭3:4‬ ‭ Are you following Jesus are the world? The world will make you focus on how many friends you have, how many followers on social media, how you dress, and all the outward appearance things. Don't get me wrong it's good to look nice, but the Bible teaches us to focus on our inward beauty. If we are the prettiest or most handsome person on the outside but are empty on the inside what good does it make? We all have insecurities and things we would change about ourselves, but sometimes the best thing to change is our inward selves. The parts of us that matter when we talk, when we love, or when we tell others about God. If someone is rude all the time and then turns around and tells you about God you question how can they act that way when they truly know God. If we are close to God our inward appearance change...

Be Thankful!

“Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.” 1 Thessalonians‬ ‭5:18‬ ‭ As Thanksgiving approaches us we tend to have our minds on the food we will eat, who we will invite over, what decor we will have, and all the things that we think of, but the true meaning behind Thanksgiving is to remember the things and the people we have around us that we are thankful for. To be blessed by God is an amazing thing, it can be as simple as waking up. To be grateful for everything in life that we have is one of the best qualities we can have. God loves to see His children having a grateful heart for all the blessings He has given us. Today, don't focus on the food or the things that have to be done, focus on the blessings God has given you over the last year! He has done wonderful things in each of our lives daily even when we fail to notice it. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts...

It Will Happen Suddenly.

““Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you.” Matthew‬ ‭7:7‬ ‭ The things you've had your prayers set on that you feel are being ignored are being worked out right now, it will happen suddenly for you. The wait will be worth all that it has been. So many times we feel as though we are praying and God isn't listening, but have you ever noticed that when someone is taking in everything you're saying they get quiet and listen. When you're praying and God seems to get silent, know that He is really just listening to your prayer. Your suddenly is about to happen, doors you thought would always be closed will be opened before you, things you thought were lost will be found, and your time is now! If you've lost something God is about to give it back to you, I truly feel this for someone. Get ready God is at work for you right now in this exact moment that you are reading t...

The Right Love!

“Three things will last forever—faith, hope, and love—and the greatest of these is love.” 1 Corinthians‬ ‭13:13‬ ‭ The wrong love makes you wonder where God is, and why He allowed you to make the choices of where you are, but the right love makes you feel Him everywhere and through everything. We often times so caught up in chasing our "types" that we forget to ask God what His type for us is. Sometimes you have to stop searching for the love you think you deserve and let God show you the love you truly deserve. God can send you someone who will love you in every way that you never even thought you needed. Think of the story of Esther, God appointed her to be the one for the king, and she even saved her people. God opens up the heart and mind of the person He has designed for us. When you meet the one that God has for you there will be no questions as to if they're right for you. They will love you in every way possible and it will be the perfect love. Today, if you'r...

Walk Through The Door.

“When the disciples saw him walking on the water, they were terrified. In their fear, they cried out, “It’s a ghost!”” Matthew‬ ‭14:26‬ ‭ When big doors open we sometimes get scared to walk through them out of fear that it isn't from God. When this happens we should stop and pray and ask God to guide us in deciding if we should walk through it. Think of the story when Jesus walked on the water, the disciples that walked with Him every day even thought it was a ghost, but Jesus said it was Him and they should not be afraid. When Jesus walks on the water we cannot choose to let fear rule us, if we keep our eyes on Him, we will be just fine. Today, if a door opens for you and you're fearful to walk into it even if you know it is from God, know that the blessings He gives aren't something we should fear. Be open to the doors God opens up for you because He knows best. He wouldn't give you something that would hurt you, He gives us His best. Walk through the door that God op...

Forgive and Forget.

"Love prospers when a fault is forgiven, but dwelling on it separates close friends." Proverbs 17:9 When Joseph was in the pit it was the closest people in his life, his own family, who threw him in there I am sure he felt betrayed, I mean who wouldn't? There will be times in our lives when people that are close to us betray us the most out of everyone. Look at Judas, he was a disciple, he walked with Jesus every day, was a true friend of Jesus, and listened to Him preach but yet still betrayed Him. If that doesn't show you something I don't know what will. The true Son of God was betrayed by a close friend. Don't get me wrong it will hurt, and you'll question why, but in the end, it will be for the best to see now the people they really are. What is important is that you need to forgive people and yourself, and forget the past. Joseph forgave his brothers in the end, and Jesus forgives you for anything you have ever done wrong. You have to turn the other ...

Trust In God!

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding.” Proverbs‬ ‭3:5‬ ‭Someone needs to hear this today, give God just a little bit more time. The things you're facing in life will not compare to how big the blessing that is coming really is. We oftentimes think that God is taking forever to open the doors we have prayed for but in reality, there were fine print details He had to work out. Sometimes the prayers we pray involve other people, and those sometimes take a bit longer for God to answer, because the free will that He gives you He also gives to others. The way that God is patient with you, He is patient with others. We want to rush things so often but have to realize that we have to have patience with God and His timing. Our timing might seem to be perfect at the moment but God knows the perfect time for all things. Today, trust in Him and His timing for your life. Know that His will is for you to prosper in life. Here are some verses to reflect ...

Pray For Others.

“When Job prayed for his friends, the Lord restored his fortunes. In fact, the Lord gave him twice as much as before!” ‭‭Job‬ ‭42:10‬ ‭ What if what you're going through is preparing you for what you're praying for. If we knew the battles that we are facing ended in the blessing wouldn't that make it much easier to have faith until the battle is over? That's the reason that I feel like God doesn't show us His whole plan, because where is the faith when we know what to expect? Faith is believing without seeing. When you're facing hard times in life know that it's a part of a bigger picture that God can see although you can't. When I face difficult times I often times think of how Job was in the middle of facing many trials at once but after the temptation and battles were over God blessed Job with more than He had before, double to be exact. The Bible says God blessed Him with double when He prayed for His friends. Have you ever stopped in the middle of y...

God Can Use Anyone.

“Then you will find favor with both God and people, and you will earn a good reputation.” Proverbs‬ ‭3:4‬ ‭ God often uses others to help bless us. When this happens we think that they have to have a relationship with God, but that is far from true, if they don't know Him they might think it was their own thought to help you when they do. God has been speaking to me these words, "Your name is being spoken about in rooms you have not yet entered." When God favors you with others you never have to wonder how things happen, you might now understand how He has done it, but you know He did! God doesn't need to use people we know to bless us, it can be a stranger that does something nice for us. God loves to see us happy, so He chooses to bless us. Today if you happen to find yourself in a situation that you don't know how to fix remind yourself that if God can use you to help others, He can use anyone! No matter your situation know that God is working through others ri...

God’s Choice For You!

“As iron sharpens iron, so a friend sharpens a friend.”Proverbs‬ ‭27:17‬ ‭ When we choose the people to be in our lives we choose those who tolerate us, not those who celebrate us. When God sets people aside to be in our lives He chooses those who celebrate us. It's like this why would you want to sit at a table where they are jealous of you, talk down on you, and don't even appreciate you when you can be sitting at the table with those who care for you, celebrate every blessing with you, pray for you, encourage you and constantly try to uplift you. When you are choosing those who you want in your tight circle be careful to choose those that are right for you and not those you think are. Although even those God sends sometimes hurt us, betray us, and even sometimes leave our circle it is all a part of a bigger plan. Think of Jesus, His circle was small with only 12 followers and Judas betrayed Him but it was all a part of a bigger plan to save all of humanity from our sins. Whe...

Listen To God!

“Understand this, my dear brothers and sisters: You must all be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to get angry.” James‬ ‭1:19‬ ‭ Often we pray until we think God hears us but in reality, we should pray until we hear God speak to us. No one likes to have a conversation with someone who talks themselves the whole time and never lets you get a word in, I know I don't. Why would God want us to spend all our time in prayer talking but never listening? God speaks to each of us in our own ways and we know how to understand what He is saying, when you spend your time in prayer today take time to not only listen but understand what God is trying to tell you. Oftentimes times the silence of prayer is what helps us understand things that we did not yet know we needed to understand. Today, when you find yourself babbling on about anything in prayer ask God for His input in your life. Listening to God is the best decision you can and will ever make in your entire life. He is the purpose ...

Love Endlessly!

“Always be humble and gentle. Be patient with each other, making allowance for each other’s faults because of your love.” Ephesians‬ ‭4:2‬ ‭ Let all that you do and say be done with love. When you speak to others do you speak with love or with hatred? Everyone you meet is going through something, even if they never seem like it or never speak about it. You could be the reason to make someone's day better or someone's day worse, but that choice is up to you and how you choose to speak to them and treat them. Nothing in life is worth hurting someone else over. We all have things we battle with and things that we carry as baggage, why not choose to help someone with the load they carry by choosing to love beyond measure and speak kindness into their lives. We often times forget that our words can hurt someone or encourage them. We each have days that just are bad in general and when someone greets us with a smile or a compliment it uplifts us even though they have no idea the day ...

Gaurd Your Heart And Mind!

“Temptation comes from our own desires, which entice us and drag us away.” James‬ ‭1:14‬ ‭ So many times the enemy sends things as a temptation in disguise of something we think we want.  When something in life comes to you and it's what you think you want double check and see if it is something God would approve of or approve of you doing. When we are doing things in life we should think of it this way, "Would I feel comfortable if Jesus was standing beside me watching me do this?" or "Would I say these thoughts to Jesus in prayer?" We also think what we think does matter, but when we think something it feeds our souls and hearts. We are often times guided by our hearts. We are to think pure and live pure lives that would make God proud of us. When you surround yourself with good and kind thoughts you begin to notice how God works through you to others because you become the best version of yourself in God. Today, remind yourself to guard your hearts and minds ...

Your Plans VS God's Plans.

“Commit your actions to the Lord, and your plans will succeed.” Proverbs‬ ‭16:3‬ ‭ No matter where you choose to go, stay, surround yourself with, choose to marry or have a relationship with, or what job or college you choose make sure that you let God be in the center of those decisions. We oftentimes think that when we make a decision it doesn't matter to God, but the reality is it does. The Bible says that He even notices the sparrows that fall to the ground, so imagine how much more important you are to Him than a sparrow. If we choose to take our own path and we reap from that what we choose in life, if we choose to let God lead us then we reap what He has for us. Nothing in life is too small to make God a part of it. Today, leave nothing up to yourself when it comes to choices and leave it all up to God! Your plans might seem great in the moment, but know that in the end you will never regret following God's plan for your life. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “W...

The Testimony!

“My God sent his angel to shut the lions’ mouths so that they would not hurt me, for I have been found innocent in his sight. And I have not wronged you, Your Majesty.””Daniel‬ ‭6:22‬ ‭ If Daniel could trust God in a den of lions don't you think you can trust Him with your problems? The keyword you need to pay attention to is a den of lions, now a lion's den without lions is one thing but Daniel was thrown in with hungry lions in their own den. God knew what Daniel was going through would help bring souls to God. What you go through is what God will use as your testimony. We always want to have a testimony but we never want to face the test, I'm sure Daniel and anyone else who faced things didn't want to either, but that is oftentimes how God works. Whatever the hardships you have faced in life you can always let God use them for His glory! Today, use what you've gone through or are going through in this moment as a testimony. God wants to use you if only you will c...
