The Bible teaches us that when we know what to do and don't do it it is a sin. Jesus' blood was sent to cover our sins but not to be taken advantage of. The thing is when they reached the Red Sea they didn't have forever to cross it, they were in a rush. They were being chased because they had escaped. When we are in a situation of having to run from life's circumstances and we are on a time crunch we oftentimes think that God can't work in the little time that we have, but God doesn't need a certain amount of time to work things out. There will be times in our lives when people that are close to us betray us the most out of everyone. Look at Judas, he was a disciple, he walked with Jesus every day, was a true friend of Jesus, and listened to Him preach but yet still betrayed Him.
