We Believe Without Seeing.

"For we live by believing and not by seeing." 2 Corinthians 5:7 Something that I couldn't understand for the longest was, why can't we see God? When I read this verse it finally came to me. Imagine if we could see God, wouldn't it be so easy for others to believe? The Bible teaches us that we have to live by faith and not by sight, so that is teaching us that faith is believing even when we aren't able to see. When we choose in our hearts to believe God is real, and that Jesus was killed for all our sins and raised from the dead, that's when our faith starts to show. We are meant to believe in God and know He's real by Him talking to us, being in us, and feeling His Spirit. We don't have to see Him to know He is the one true God. Here are some verses to reflect on today. "Yet when he comes near, I cannot see him. When he moves by, I did not see him go." Job 9:11 "I do not see him in the north, for he I hidden. I look to the south, bu...

Let Your Faith Overcome Doubt.

"Faith shows the reality of what we hope for; it is the evidence of things we cannot see." Hebrews 1:11 When you're in doubt pray it out, Life is going to always make you doubt things, but you have to let your faith outweigh that doubt. I feel like someone has been praying for something for a while, maybe a move of God, a loved one, a circumstance that seems to not be changing, or something personal. I feel God saying, "You're so caught up in the worry that you're forgetting that I have taken care of everything you've worried about before now. If you lay everything in my hands, I will take care of it." Doubt doesn't have to live in your heart, you're the one who is letting it. Let your faith overcome doubt. Here are some verses to reflect on today. "By faith we understand that the entire universe was formed at God's command, that what we now see did not come from anything that can be seen." Hebrews 11:3 "For you know that w...

Be Free Of Baggage.

"So I tell you, every sin and blasphemy can be forgiven— except blasphemy against the Holy Spirit, which will never be forgiven." Matthew 12:31  We are made right not by our own good, but by God's mercy. The thing about God is He knows we don't deserve His love and forgiveness, yet He gives it to us anyways. God doesn't think like we do, God doesn't look at all the wrong you've done and say, "you're too far gone, you've done too much for me to forgive you." The Bible tells us that the only sin that cannot be forgiven is blasphemy, that means all those mistakes you've made that seem so terrible, God forgave you for the minute you asked Him to. You're carrying a weight that isn't yours to carry any more, give it up. You're free and you're forgiven. Stop carrying around baggage. Here are some verses to reflect on today. "Then Jesus said to the woman, "Your sins are forgiven." Luke 7:48 "Is it easier ...

Speak JOY!

“But we must hold on to the progress we have already made.” Philippians‬ ‭3:16‬ ‭ Life is never easy, we all have trials but once we start to speak life into our circumstances we begin to see God’s hands begin to work in our lives. It’s kind of like this, you don’t want to be around someone who constantly speaks down on others, doubts, and talks about how bad their life is, you want to surround yourself with people who are excited, happy, and cheerful. That’s how God looks at it, if we have faith in a situation we would be saying “I know God is about to do this for me, I am so excited” instead of all the doubtful words. Today I encourage you to start to speak life into your circumstances. God keeps speaking this to me to write about, someone needs to start doing this. When you speak faith, God begins to work. Here are some verses to reflect on. “But the words you speak come from the heart—that’s what defiles you.” Matthew‬ ‭15:18 “The more words you speak, the less they mean. So what g...

Abundant Rain Is Coming.

"You sent abundant rain, O God, to refresh the weary land." Psalms 68:9 God keeps speaking "abundant" to me, the meaning to understand, it's meaning is "having plenty of." Your time is coming, you've been in the drought too long, and the rain is on the way. God is sending you an abundant rain of blessings into your life. Get ready for the times of hardship to be over, you're coming into a season like never before. You're going to be completely amazed by how God moves in your life and by the blessings He is sending to you right now. You have to start to speak things into existence, the blessings, the peace, the joy, and even the goodness of God. Here are some verses to reflect on today. "You have given me greater joy than those who have abundant harvests of grain and new wine." Psalms 4:7 "You haven't don't this before. Ask, using my name, and you will receive, and you will have abundant joy." John 26:24 "bri...

Stay True To God.

"Jesus told him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me." John 14:6  I was watching a church service live this evening, and those who came in the comments were being so disrespectful to the preacher, and even just the comments about God were outrageous. I don't understand how someone could blaspheme God like that, I felt angered by the comments. I remembered at that moment how Jesus reacted to people who didn't believe Him, He showed them love anyways. He didn't be disrespectful back, He stayed true to what He knew. The sad thing is some people will go their entire lives denying God, and might never know Him to be true until judgment day, and then it's far too late. God will handle those who talk against men and women of God, including you as His children, if only we stay true to Him and the truth. We have to do what we can, show people His love, and leave the rest up to Him. God always gets the last word ...

Tell Your Story.

"He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfy others. When they are troubled, we will be able to give the same comfort God has given us." 2 Corinthians 1:4 We all have a story to tell of how God has comforted us in the hardest times of our lives, we have a testimony. I encourage you, if you see someone going through what you have and you can encourage them, tell them all about how God brought you out of that dark time. I have a testimony that I will tell someday, and I know in my heart it will help others. God puts us through things sometimes to turn it into a testimony for others to see just how far God can bring someone, and how there is light at the end of every tunnel. Today, I encourage you to take hold of any opportunity to tell others how God can bring you out of the darkest places. Here are some verses to reflect on today. "For the more we suffer for Christ, the more God will shower us with his comfort through Christ." 2 Corinthians 1:5 "No, ...

Believe & You Will Recieve.

"And he said to her, "Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace. Your suffering is over." Mark 5:34 Today I encourage you to stop worrying about how God will make it happen and just believe it will. The story in the Bible where the woman with the blood issue, she came to Jesus and grabbed His robe, and was healed. Jesus said to her, "Your faith has healed you, Go in peace." If only we come to Jesus with faith, that's when He works. We can't expect God to work when we don't believe He will without seeing. We have to put our first foot forward in faith, knowing that God can and will do the impossible in our lives. That situation you're stressed about, have faith, believe that God is already handling it because He is!! Here are some verses to reflect on today. "But Jesus overheard them and said to Jarius, " Don't be afraid. Just have faith." Mark 3:36 "I tell you, you can pray for anything, and if you believe that ...

Focus On Heavenly Things.

"Think about the things of heaven, not the things of earth." Colossians 3:2 What if you spent one day completely focused on God? Imagine the change of heart and compassion you would feel for others around you and even yourself. The stress would be lifted and you would find yourself suddenly at peace with the world. The problem today is we get so caught up in worrying about what others think about us, social media has a big part in that. We constantly have people knowing what we do by our posts, and we feel pressure to always seem okay. The thing about God is He knows when we are hurting secretly, He knows when we are sad, He knows when we feel like we made too many mistakes to ever turn back to Him, but see He didn't come down and die on the cross for those who deserve it, He came down and died for every single one of us who don't. You're never too far gone, and you're enough. Today, focus solely on God and let your thoughts be changed. You'll soon see you...

God Works In A Package.

"Faith shows thte reality of what we hoped for; it is the evidence of things we cannot see." Hebrews 11:1  You're so close to the comeback, just hold on a little longer. Don't lose the faith you're so close, you just can't see it unfolding yet. Whatever you're praying about, God already heard you, He already set the plan and miracle into motion. You don't see things happening yet, but they will happen so quickly. It will shock you when you realize how God worked so quickly and did so much even though you couldn't see it. See God works in a package deal, while we are praying about one thing God is doing many things at once. Today, be at peace knowing God already handled it all, He's worked all the things you're worried about out. If only you trust Him, then you will begin to see the results. If God let you know everything He is doing then you wouldn't have to live by faith, you would see it, but faith is believing without seeing. Here ar...

God's Always Protecting You!

"He guards the path of the just and protects those who are faithful to him." Proverbs 2:8   You don't know the times that God has protected you things. Think about the times you've almost wrecked, broken bones, hurt yourself, or even just almost been in a place at the wrong time. That time you thought God was breaking your heart, He was actually letting those things happen because what you thought was meant for you, was not. God knew the future and knew what to do to stop that from happening, and letting what was meant for you to find you. You never know how many times God has actually done that for you. When you give your all to God, and you are faithful to Him, He will guide you and He will protect you, always. Today, think about your relationship with God, make sure you're doing your best to stay close as you can to Him because you never know exactly what He is protecting you from. Here are some verses to reflect on today. "For you are my hiding place; you...

For Such A Time As This!

"If you keep quiet at a time like this, deliverance and relief for the Jews will arise from some other place, but you and your relatives will die. Who knows if perhaps you were made queen for such a time as this?" Esther 4:14  What are the odds that you're on the earth this year, pretty slim to none right? That is proof that God knows the best time for us to exist to fulfill our full potential in Him. God knows exactly when and how we will help people the most. You're meant to be on this earth to help others, and this time is the perfect time for you to be here. I don't know if you've ever read the book of Esther, but if not you should. The sum up of it was she became queen and was a Jew which the king did not know at that time, the king's second hand wanted all the Jews killed, but Esther stood up for her people and God used the king to spare them. The verse says, "She was called for such a time as this," and so are you! You were called for such...

Repent & Be Baptized, Turn From Evil.

"For the living know that they will die, but the dead know nothing; and even their name is forgotten." Ecclesiastes 9:5 I play a game where once you "die" in your game you're a ghost pretty much, you know who killed you once you die, but you can't talk to the live players to tell them who done it. It kind of became a revelation to me today, as I thought of life in the aspect of it. That's how life really is, see we live life knowing we will die, but we don't know where we will go until we are gone. We have to try our best to be good people, live for God and make the right choices. I heard someone say one time, "If only the living knew what the dead do, it would be a different world on this earth." Isn't that true though, we would live a completely different life if we knew how horrible hell actually is. We would work a lot harder to go to Heaven to be with Jesus and be better people in general. Today take your eternity serious, get righ...

Share Your Happiness.

"Give me happiness, O Lord, for I give myself to you." Psalms 86:4 Since 2020 we haven't had "normal", we have lived in a world where we haven't seen smiles for months at a time. The thing about smiles is it doesn't only express someone's beauty, it also shows their emotions. We get to see someone's happiness through it. Since we have gotten the mask mandate lifted, I've noticed smiles, and how people greet me with a grin. It makes my day for someone to smile at me. Today smile at someone, show them kindness. Show love to people, as Jesus would. As Christian's our happiness is found in Christ, and the best part is we can always share Jesus with others. Here are some verses to reflect on. "What sorrow awaits you who are rich, for you have your only happiness now." Luke 6:24 "Make me walk along the path of your commands, for that is where my happiness is found." Psalms 119:35 "Always be full of joy in the Lord. I sa...

You're Free From Your Mind.

"And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free." John 8:32   You're free to be the person God created you to be, see the thing about freedom is usually in our minds. Most of the time if we become free in our minds, then we are fully free. We let the enemy control our minds, and that is the issue. If we let God free us from our thoughts, then we will be fully free, today pray for guidance and pray for for freedom. Stop letting the enemy control you. You're already free, if only you believe it in your hearts. Here are some verses to reflect on today. "So Christ has truly set us free, and don't get tied up again in slavery to the law." Galatians 5:1 "But now you are free from the power of sin and have become slaves of God. Now you do those things that lead to holiness and results in eternal life." Romans 6:22 "For the Lord is the Spirit, and whatever the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom." 2 Corinthians 3:17 "Fo...

From A Battle To A Breakthrough.

"For God has not given us the spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love and self-discipline." 2 Timothy 1:7 God doesn't send us fear, doubt, broken hearts, troubled spirits, or even sadness. God didn't put you here on this earth to constantly struggle to make it day by day, He put you here to thrive. You was made to live a life full of happiness, contentment, joy, and even peace. You have to stop letting the enemy tell you that what your going through is from God, because it's not. God will teach you things in the valley, but God wants you to be happy. Think of it this way, when you love and care about someone you never want to see them hurting, you want them happy, imagine how God feels about us and our feelings, He is the one who created us from dirt. You have to let God change your battle to a breakthrough. He's using what your going through right now in this moment to grow you into a better person. The breakthrough is near, you just have to hold on t...

God Is Packing The Suitcase.

"Pack your bags and prepare to leave; the siege is about to begin." Jeremiah 10:17 When packing for a trip you think of all the things you need and begin to pack them. Now if you were told you won a trip but you would not be told where you are going you until you get there, you would have no idea what you would need to pack. That's how it is when we are being prepared for something from God, we have no idea where we are headed, but God is packing the suitcase. He knows everything we will want and need, and He knows the destination we're headed to. You have no need to fear, God is preparing you for what you are praying for. Stop worrying so much, God has all things handled. God already packed your suitcase, you're getting ready to move into your next season! Be calm and relax, you will have everything you need as you walk into this next season. Here are some verses to reflect on today. "I slipped out during the night, taking only few others with me. I had not ...

He Is The Potter, We Are The Clay.

"O Israel, can I not do to you as this potter has done to his clay? As the clay is not the potter's hand, so are you in my hand." Jeremiah 18:6 When you go through deep waters sometimes it's not about drowning you, it's about cleansing you, other times it's to drown your enemies. Think of it like this, when we are baptized it's not to drown us, it's to cleansers. You have to stop putting these thoughts in your mind that God is breaking you, most if the times He's actually making you.We all have flaws, things God sees about us that need fixing, and sometimes He does have to break us completely down to build us back up. He is the potter, He is the one that made us in the first place. Next time you feel like you're breaking, remind yourself maybe God is just fixing the things about you that you didn't know how to fix. Here are some verses to reflect on today. "Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you." 1 Peter ...

Take A Leap Of Faith.

"Faith shows the reality of what we hope for; it is the evidence of things we cannot see." Hebrews 11:1 Faith is when we take a step and can't see the entire staircase, but we know God can. We have to start putting our faith over everything, whether it be in a sense of doubt, relationships, friendships, jobs, school, social media, depression, anxiety, or even just our thoughts. We have to trust that the end of the stairs are already made and prepared before you get there, do what you can where you are and trust God with the rest. You and your family are going to be just fine, if only you place the future in God's hands. He is already there, He already knows what you're going to need next and He's got it taken care of too. Be at peace and start to trust God more. He's not like us and worries, He knows all, sees all, and can fix all. Here are some verses to reflect on today. "By faith we understand that the entire universe was formed at God's comman...

Wolves Can Come In Sheep's Clothing.

"Beware of false prophets who come disguised as harmless sheep but are really vicious wolves." Matthew 7:15 This is something that's been heavy on my heart and mind to talk about, pray God opens your vision to understand this and take it in. The enemy sends spirits in more ways than one, it can come in the form of anxiety, depression, stress, doubt, fear, and even confusion. Sometimes the enemy sends things just to disturb our peace, but we have a choice in our minds to trust God or trust the enemies lies. Realize the enemy can even come in sheep's clothing. The enemy attacks where he knows he can get to you and your peace. A robber wouldn't rob an empty house, right? It's the same with the enemy. You have to stop letting him take your peace and joy away when you know it's not from God. Don't give up, and don't give in. Trust God in all your ways, He will bring you through stronger and better than before. The thing about God is He takes what the en...

You're No Longer A Slave To Fear.

"But Jesus spoke to them at once. "Don't be afraid," he said. "Take courage. I am here!" Matthew 14:27 There are so many times in our lives when we let thoughts over take us, and Jesus is in our presences telling us to take courage He is there. You have to stop letting the enemy use these strategies, we know it's the enemy yet we still believe it. I do this myself, I let the enemy use old strategies on me, knowing my Peacemaker has already overcame the world. Start today by reminding yourself Jesus is telling you, "Don't be afraid. Take courage, I am here." Stop letting the enemy control you. You're free from all things, if only you have the faith to believe it. Start speaking it out loud, "You are free"! You're no longer a salve to fear, you are a child of God! Start speaking and living like it. Here are some verses to reflect on today. "Now you are no longer a slave but God's own child. And since you are his ch...

Embrace Your Beauty.

"Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous—how well I know it" Psalms 139:14  You are loved, and you are fearfully and wonderfully made. When God put you on this earth it was for a reason, He knew the way you'd be, the way you'd think, the way you'd walk and talk, see He already knew all of that because He created you unique for a reason. Whatever your purpose is in life God made you the way you are for a special reason to fulfill that. It's okay to not be like everyone else because that is what makes us unique in our own ways. Embrace yourself the way that God made you! If you're a guy, or a girl, it doesn't matter, God made each of us with beauty. He created the world in 7 days, but took 9 months to create us in a womb. Here are some verses to reflect on today. "You are all together beautiful, my darling, beautiful in every way." Songs of Songs 4:7 "How beautiful you are, my darling, how beautiful!...

No One Can Take Your Calling Away.

"Let no one split apart what God has joined together." Mark 10:9  What is meant for you will not pass you by, when God assigns something for you in your life then nothing will take that away. The Bible says that let no man tear apart what God has placed together, in this reference it's talking about a marriage. I personally feel this could also mean in callings that God has called us to do also. When God puts a calling on your life He doesn't just give up, look at Jonah, God put him in the belly of the whale just to get him to listen. If you're meant to do something no man will stand in the way of what God has planned for you. You cannot try to run from what God has called you t do out of fear or being ashamed, God called you to do it because He knew you could. Take hold knowing what God has for you will find you, and no one can stand in the way of your blessings. Here are some verses to reflect on today. "No power in the sky above or in the earth below- inde...

Treat Others With Respect.

"Do to others as you would like them to do to you." Luke 6:31 I have learned many things as I've grew up, one being that others don't care the way you do. Now in the world others would say, "treat them the way that they treat you", but as a christian we should say, "No, I'll treat them the way Jesus treats me." This is a act of Jesus' hands and feet on earth, as we always should be. Don't treat someone poorly just because that's the way they treat you. I loved an older show growing up, and it taught to turn the other cheek, even when someone slaps you, as a child that stuck with me. Even if someone is being rude to you, turn the other cheek. The Bible never says treat that person how they treated you, but it does say, "Treat others the way that you would like to be treated." If you want people to treat you with love, kindness and respect you must do the same to everyone. Here are some verses to reflect on today. "Do t...

God Already Equipped You.

"God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work." 2 Timothy 3:17 If God calls you to do something, He has already equipped you for it. You've already got everything you need to do what God has planned for you. You are enough, and God wouldn't have called you to do something you weren't able to do. God has a special plan for everyone's life, and just because we all don't have the same calling, we all have important ones. If you feel called to help people, be a minister, be a friend to those in need, to be a youth leader, to be a foster parent, to be someone who cleans the church, or even to be a missionary know God already equipped you for it. When the right door opens step not it wit confidence knowing God has already given you the strength to do it. Take that leap of faith and trust God. Here are some verses to reflect on today. "Their responsibility is to equip God's people to do his work and build up the church, the body of C...

Tell Others While You Have A Chance.

"I passed on to you what was most important and what had also been passed on to me. Christ died for our sins, just as the Scriptures said." 1 Corinthians 15:3 As I was getting ready to fall asleep the other night, it came to me that, what if my loved ones don't go to heaven? What if they spend eternity in hell, that would be horrible. I wouldn't want that for them, that is why spreading the Gospel is such a serious thing. That is why we must tell everyone of Jesus, we have to help them understand the seriousness of eternity. Life is short, we must do things while we still have to chance. Who ever you thought of while reading this today, go and tell them that Jesus loves them, and that He died for every sin they have ever committed, He is waiting with open arms for them to Him. Share the Gospel, our days aren't promised here on earth, do it while you still can. Here are some verses to reflect on today. "God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you ca...

Heaven Is Not A Fairytale.

"He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever." Revelation 21:4 There is one place in this world we all dream of visiting, somewhere that we think is completely gorgeous, think of how beautiful that place is, really picture it in your mind. Heaven is so much more beautiful than that, the streets are made of gold, the flowers are colors we can't even imagine, and the best part is, our savior is there at His thrown. We can spend one on one time with Him anytime we want, and worship Him all the days long. It sounds great doesn't it, like a fairy tale, but the thing is it's actually a real place. Eternity is serious, and we all should work daily to make Heaven our home. Here are some verses to reflect on today. "When everything is ready, I will come and get you, so that you will always be with me where I am." John 14:3 "But we are citizens of heaven, where the Lo...

Always Be Kind.

"Do everything without complaining and arguing," Philippians 2:14 When you're talking to someone about something and all the do is complain it makes you not want to be around them or talk to them. So imagine how it looks on us as Christian's when we throw a fit over simple things in front of everyone. If you're in public, private or even around a small crowd you should always set a good example of God's love and forgiveness. I have so many times in my life been in a restaurant and seen someone throw a fit over their food being wrong, not even knowing them, it embarrasses me. I know how it feels to order food and get the wrong order, but I try to be patient remembering the person who made my food could have had a bad day, or maybe the person who originally made it was sick and God was protecting me from getting sick. Next time you have a chance to be rude, or cause a scene, choose kindness instead. Smile and forgive, be more like Christ. Here are some verses to...

Faith Over Doubt.

"But when you ask him, be sure that your faith is in God alone. Do not waver, for a person with divided loyalty is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is blown and tosses by the wind." James 1:6 Deep inside of us each of us have doubt, no matter if we don't want to admit it or not, or even if it's a small bit of doubt. See if we choose to let the doubt talk over our faith we will never get anywhere. We have to speak positive, no matter the situation. If you're going through a tough time, speak peace and break through, if you're heartbroken or sad speak happiness, if you're happy speak complete joy, even if you're anxious speak peace. No matter the situation we are able to speak life into it. I was going through a really rough time a few months back, I began to speak joy, happiness and blessings into my life, God began to work because of my faith. If you have faith you can achieve anything. Here are some verses to reflect on today. "I tell you ...

Prayer Is Top Priority.

"Pray like this: Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy." Matthew 6:9 When we pray, that is when chains break. See God knew that we would need a way to communicate with Him, and to ask Him for help when we desperately need it. Think about it this way, prayer is a phone call to heaven, but see God isn't like some of us who miss calls, don't answer or even just ignore calls. He always is ready to pick up the phone and talk to us. He is always ready to be a listening ear, always ready to communicate back, all though at times we feel as though He is distant, or just isn't listening, remind yourself that sometimes the world is louder than Him in our minds. Today if you're praying for an answer, a miracle or even just feel distant with God. Go off into a room alone and pray, listen, even if you don't hear anything for a while tell God about your day and ask Him for the advice you need. Here are some verses to reflect on today. "I tell you, you can...

Dream Bigger!

"Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think." Ephesians 3:20  Dreams are something God created for us, the Bible tells us that His plans are better than we could ever think of. Thing of that dream that is so big you think could never come to pass, that dream is small compared to the plans God has set out for those who love Him. If God spent so much time creating us, don't you think He wants to spend time seeing us succeed. Things that are from God are so much better than things of this world. The world might give you money, fame, nice houses, and temporary happiness, but when God blesses you it's something that will last. I'm not saying God doesn't bless you with money, nice houses, or even fame, but when God does it He gets the glory, and He also wouldn't give you something that is a temporary happiness, because as christians we don't find happiness in those t...
