He Is Strengthening You.

"But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint." Isaiah 40:31  The struggles you're facing today are going to be your strength tomorrow. God is getting ready to the next level you, when you go into this next season, He is going to use the things you've been facing to restore you. He will restore you for all you lost all that hurt you, and all that broke you as if it never even happened. This next season you're going into is going to be more weight on you, you need to be able to hear His voice when He guides you. The struggles have made you able to hold more things and not stress over the weight of it. You're not being punished, you're being taught how to handle things better. What use to bother you will seem easy as if there is no weight on you. God revealed something to me today and it might be confusing so those who understand do. When an ea...

Don't Let The Enemy Push You.

"Satan, who is the god of this world, has blinded the minds of those who don't believe. They are unable to see the glorious light of the Good News. They don't understand this message about the glory of Christ, who is the exact likeness of God." 2 Corinthians 4:4 The reason the enemy hates us so much is that we get millions of second chances, we fail God every day yet we still can be forgiven, and still find His grace. Satan failed one time and was cast into hell for all of eternity. See the enemy tries to tie us down and create doubt in and around us because then that creates distance from God, he does this because he doesn't want us to remember that we aren't like him, we can find God's grace every day. Satan messed up when he started singing not for God's glory but his own that is why the enemy tries so hard to make us think that we have to worry more about our outward appearance, how popular we are, what others think or even see us like, and even th...

Ignore The Doubt, Keep Going.

"And God did not spare the ancient world–except for Noah and the seven others in his family. Noah warned the world of God's righteous judgment. So God protected Noah when he destroyed the world of ungodly people with a vast flood." 2 Peter 2:5  When God puts a dream in your heart not everyone will see your vision, they won't even understand where you're coming from. This same thing happened with Noah, when God told him a flood was coming others couldn't see it or feel it coming, Noah didn't stop building the ark and finishing it due to those who doubted what God had told Him. If you're working on a dream or something God has showed you and you're wanting to stop because others are doubting it and don't see your vision, keep going. God gave you the vision so you could fulfill it. If God wanted someone else to build the ark He would've spoke to them and told them to do so, but He chose Noah, the same way God chose you to fulfill your purpose...

Don't Listen To The Enemies Lies.

"Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour." 1 Peter 5:8 The thing about the enemy is if he can start to make you believe his lies then he knows he has you away from God mentally. We all have doubts, fears, and things we battle in our minds daily that most of us never speak about because we take care of them ourselves. God never sends us a thought that is mean towards someone, hateful or untruthful, but most of all God's thoughts aren't even like ours. The thoughts that come from God aren't like the enemies, they're not confusing or make you wonder why you're not deserving they're uplifting and they tell you the point. God sends thoughts into our minds every day, but so does the enemy. When you go through a time where you feel like you're being isolated most of the time that's God teaching you how to listen to Him. Today as I was sitting outside I was praying, the ...

Don't Just Help, Also Love!

"If I gave everything I have to the poor and even sacrificed my body, I could boast about it; but if I didn't love others, I would have nothing." 1 Corinthians 12:3 God has even really dealt with me about helping the poor and homeless, we forget that we have such an advantage of having a roof over our heads, cars to drive, food to eat, and even extra cash to spend that is something we should be so thankful for these things. We should use the extra God gives us to help those in need and help the homeless, we are meant to be vessels. If I went and feed all the homeless people around me but didn't love those who treat me badly, those who treat me good, and everyone around me it would mean absolutely nothing in the eyes of God. Good acts of kindness with no love behind them are utterly meaningless. We are here to be the hands and feet of Jesus but we are also here to show the wonderful love of Jesus and let it shine through us every day! Today as you do an act of kindness...

The Harvest Is Here.

"So let's not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don't give up." Galatians 6:9 As we all know fall just started, fall is also a time for the harvest of a lot of the food we eat. The Bible tells   us that we will reap a harvest of blessings if we don't give up, when we plant something we can't dig it up to see if it's ready, we have to trust that it is growing as it should be. Faith is the same way, when we plan our faith in something we cannot yet see we can't pick our faith back up just because we are feeling doubtful. This season we are in is for harvest of things physically but know that you're walking into the harvest season spiritually also, God is about to open doors, and the blessings are about to flow in. Stop worrying so much, God knows you planted that good seed in faith, and the fact you haven't given up yet is proof your blessing is closer than before. You're so close...

Be Thankful For What You Have.

"Not that I was ever in need, for I have learned how to be content with whatever I have." Philippians 4:11 We need to learn to be content with what God has already given us, the blessings He freely gives us we should be grateful for. I know it's nice to have the newest car, newest phone, nicest clothes, and the prettiest houses, but that isn't what you need to be happy. I have learned that things that don't last forever can never fulfill your heart with the happiness you're looking for, that happiness can only be found in the everlasting things and the everlasting God. You need to be thankful for what you have before God gives you more. Think of it this way, why would you give someone a million dollars if they did not appreciate the 100 dollars you already had given them? Learn to thank God and be content with what He has already given you. Here are some verses to reflect on today. "Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you who ...

Your Prayer Was Heard!

"I did this so you would trust not in human wisdom but in the power of God." 1 Corinthians 2:5 You have a miracle headed your way right now, the reason God is doing it the way that He is, is so that you will know it could only be from God. I was praying for something for a really long time, and I felt like God wouldn't answer me and give me any details. He told me that by a certain month my prayer would be answered, but never said an exact date. I questioned why He couldn't just tell me how it would be, or even when exactly it would be, in that moment He spoke to me and said, "Because if you knew every detail it wouldn't be a process where you trusted me for the next step blindly, and if you knew how then you wouldn't be as patient in the waiting. If you don't know the details then you won't know it is only by me that these prayers could be answered." I then realized that sometimes the delay is a process to see if we can trust Him. When somet...

You Still Have Time.

"God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work." 2 Timothy 3:17  Today God spoke to me and said this is what someone needs to hear, "Just because you're walking to the finish line and others are running doesn't mean you won't get the same prize." We all want to accomplish great things in our lives, and sometimes we don't accomplish them on the timelines that we think are best, but that doesn't mean that we are behind. Maybe you see all your friends are getting boyfriends, getting married, having babies, or starting careers before you that doesn't mean that you are behind it just means you're letting things align in God's timing. You are getting to these accomplishments later and that's okay, it doesn't mean that the prize changes, you aren't in a race for this, you're just getting there when you get there. Life isn't about racing to see who can get married and have kids first, it's about goi...

The Answer Is On The Way.

"The Lord kept his word and did for Sarah exactly what he had promised." Genesis 21:1  Don't mistake God's silences for a "no" from Him. In the eye of the storm all is silent, we think it's over, but really it's only halfway through it, that is what it's like with God, but not in a scary way when we think God adds a period sometimes it's just a comma. We tend to ask God a question that just isn't meant to be answered at that moment, maybe He has something better for you or maybe He just doesn't want to give you the details now. His answer is always on the way, but it isn't like a package we can track, we have to trust God while it's on the way and know that it will arrive right on time. The Bible says God told Sarah by that time next year she would have a baby, she was older and saw no way, she even laughed it off. Her husband was 100 years old when she had a baby. I'm not saying it's going to take God 50 years to ans...

Jesus Didn't Feel Like It Either.

"So please don't lose heart because of my trails here. I am suffering for you, so you should feel honored." Ephesians 3:13 As I was getting ready to write tonight I was tired and drained and didn't feel like writing, as I spoke "I really don't feel like writing at this moment" God spoke to me within and said, "And I didn't feel like going up on that cross either." It really spoke to me, not only because I knew that He was telling me to get up and write but also that even though He knew He needed to die for our sins to give us a way for forgiveness, He was scared and didn't want to do it as a human with feelings does. We all wake up some Sunday and we just don't feel like getting up to go to church, there are days we just don't feel like reading the Bible, there are days we just don't feel like worshiping, there are days we just don't feel like praying, and even days where we just don't feel like spending that quality...

Waiting On Love.

"One night as I lay in bed, I yearned for my lover. I yearned for him, but he did not come." Song of Songs 3:1 I have been through the waiting for a lover stage, I waited years for the right person. When I was in my earlier teens everyone I knew had boyfriends and girlfriends but I was listening to God and staying single. It hurt me to see all my friends getting the love I desired, but I knew what I was waiting for would be worth the wait. Someone once told me, "It's better to wait than to marry wrong and be miserable." That stuck with me for so long, if you're waiting for the right person to come along know God will send them. When I would feel hurt over everyone having the love I desired I would think of it this way, "At this moment the person I will end up with is making memories that we will sit and laugh about" and that's exactly what happened. My dad always told me it was probably someone I hadn't even met yet, and I would always disa...

God's Will.

"For God is pleased when conscious of his will, you patiently endure unjust treatment." 1 Peter 2:19  When we do God's will for our lives willingly it pleases Him, and when we are kind even when others mistreat us it also pleases God. We all have people in our lives who aren't the nicest to us and think we are lower than them, but we should patiently endure these tests of life, God is pleased with our actions. Our actions should always be pure towards others even when they aren't pure towards us. I know I write a lot about being kind but think of a time a complete stranger was nice to you, you'll remember their kindness forever. Someone in this world remembers you for your kindness, where you showed God's love to them for nothing in return. Patience is one of the best things we can ever gain when we learn to be patient we learn how to be kind. God's will for our lives is to be kind, and trust in Him even when it is difficult. Today take a moment to pra...

Keep On Asking!

"Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you." Matthew 7:7 If you keep asking someone for something after they've ignored you or haven't given you an answer they will then begin to get annoyed, see God doesn't work that way. When we keep asking for something He doesn't get frustrated with us, or mad because we keep on asking. There are times in my life where I've asked God a question it feels like a million times and didn't get the answer, it isn't because He is ignoring me, it's because it isn't time for me to know that yet, but there are also times where God gives me an answer and I get so excited over it and a few days later I feel like I need that encourage again, so I ask again and He tells me again. He wants us to keep asking, it shows we have our faith set on Him and our trust is found in Him alone. If you're praying for an answer...

Don't Lose Service With God.

"Never stop praying." 1 Thessalonians 5:17 Our relationship with God is like a phone with no service, all we can do on it is play games. Life isn't a game or a toy we can just sit down one day and forget about it, we are in this life for a reason and a purpose and that's to be a vessel for God. Life without God is nothing worth being a part of it takes all the good things out of it, and it ends in eternity that we most defiantly don't want to be a part of. Make sure you still have service with God. We need full bars at all times and never be in a dead zone because when we lose communication with God, that's when we've lost all that matters. When we are in tune with God, He is in tune with us, and when we kneel to God, He stands for us against anyone and any demon in hell that tries to come against us. Get in tune with God today by making sure you're communicating with Him, He wants to hear about our day although He knows what happened, He loves when we...

The Test Teaches Endurance.

"Jesus replied, 'You don't understand now what I am doing, but someday you will.'" John 13:7 What you're going through right now is teaching you something, keep going. When we are driving and it starts to rain we don't know which direction the clouds are going until we get through the storm, that's how it is when God is the driver, we don't know which direction He is taking us but we will when we get there. We don't need to know every detail of life or what all the future holds, what we do need to know is who we trust in when we are in the middle of the storm. We are all learning how to trust Him through anything that we go through in life. When we are tested it shows how much faith we really have. What you're going through isn't the end, it's a lesson to help you in the future. You're going to have to trust God more on this next level in your life, that's why you're learning endurance now. In the Bible it says "Wh...

His Voice!

"I have told you now before it happens, so that when it does happen you will believe." John 14:29 When God tells us a promise in our lives for the future He tells us that so that when the time comes we will know for sure it was sent by Him. God has spoke to me more in the last year than He has my entire life, not because He didn't want to talk to me but because I had too many voices around me to listen to His voice. I watched a video the other night talking about when God separates us. It said "Sometimes You're surrounded by too many voices where you can't hear My voice, from your friends voice, to your boyfriend and girlfriend's voice, and even your family's voice. I'm going to put you in a season where I can teach you how to know My voice apart from others." We have to let God separate us from the world sometimes, we aren't meant to fit in, we are meant to stand out, even if that means losing friends. I know it hurts to lose friends, an...

We Are Made To Be Kind.

"Love means doing what God has commanded us, and he has commanded us to love one another, just as you heard from the beginning." 2 John 1:6 People refer to treating others as we want to be treated as the "Golden rule." We should defiantly use this in our daily lives. God has really been dealing with me about how we treat others and how it's the way we show God's love. If someone treats you badly or with hatred we will assume that they aren't Christian because that's not how Jesus would treat them, right? We aren't here to be rude and disrespectful to others, we are here to be the hands and feet of Jesus, to show people how much God loves them through us. Your light shines when you help those in need, and when you're being kind no matter how the other person treats you. We should never treat someone poorly just because they are treating us that way, your kindness shouldn't depend on their attitude. Treat people the way you want them to tre...

Follow The True Leader.

"As they were walking along the road, a man said to him, "I will follow you wherever you go." Luke 9:57 We must follow wherever God chooses to lead us, often times it's not where we think it will be, but that's okay because God knows best. We are called to be followers of Christ, not those who follow their own thoughts and their own flesh. Follow Jesus wherever He leads you, and you will never go wrong. When we are at a choice in life we must talk to God first, we can't depend on our own understanding. We never know what the future holds, but we do know who holds our future. We are followers of Christ and that's a daily decision we must make every single day.  If you can't decide what job, car, or career path you want to take, pray over it today. God made us for such a time as this. We all have a purpose in this world, and God knows what that is for each of us. He can lead you to the right people, opportunities, and even the right places for your purp...

I Declare!

"The people who walk in darkness will see a great light. For those who live in a land of deep darkness, a light will shine." Isaiah 9:2 I declare the car you've been praying for is coming, the relationship you've patiently waited on is fixing to find its way to you, the healing you've been praying for is fixing to happen, the trip you've been dreaming to take is going to become possible, the job you've been praying for is going to open up, and even the child you've been praying for is going to be the surprise God sends to you. This is the year you go from waiting to receiving! We spend so much time waiting for things and worrying if they will come to pass that we forget our burdens don't have to be carried, we can pray and leave it at God's feet for Him to take care of. We learn things in the waiting that we will carry with us forever and always remember. As I waited for a relationship I learned the things I wanted in a relationship and the thi...

Show Your Faith In Action.

"What good is it, dear brothers and sisters, if you say you have faith but don't show it by your actions? Can that kind of faith save anyone?" James 2:14 If we say we have faith but show no actions of faith, then why would we think others see it too? Faith is something we have to live by; it is the evidence of our hopes and the evidence of things we cannot yet see. Faith is us praying for a problem to be fixed seeing no change but knowing God already fixed it, it's saying everything is already worked out when you're still in the chaos, it's smiling and saying God is sending me the right one even when your heart is broken, it's all these things but most of all it's not only saying these things but truly believing in them when there is no proof of it. God doesn't want us to have faith just when we see it working, He wants us to have faith when nothing is working. You can't have faith if you don't speak it, and act as though it's already ...

Light To Others.

"No one lights a lamp and then puts it under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where it gives light to everyone in the house." Matthew 5:15 Why would we let the fire of God within us be hid, why wouldn't we show it to the world? If you're a true Christian and know Jesus to be your Lord and Savior why wouldn't you tell everyone you know about Him so they can experience the same grace that you have? We spend so much time bragging about our new clothes, new shoes, new houses, new cars and even new jobs but then we are ashamed to brag about God. Imagine getting to heavens gates and God saying, "You spent plenty of time bragging about cars, shoes, houses and clothes but name 5 times you bragged about me, the one who made it possible for you to have the money to buy those nice things." We need to spend more time bragging on God than on earthly treasures. Your earthly belongings are blessings from God, yes you may have worked hard for them but God...

The Peacemaker!

"Though the mountains will be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed," says the Lord, who has compassion on you." Isaiah 54:10 This verse is so deep if you think about it. How many times in our lives have things been shaken relationships, friendships, jobs, or even where we thought we'd live somewhere but something changed and we had to move. This life isn't something permeant nor are the things in it. We spend so much time depending on things that we forget the only important thing in life is God's unfailing love and His peace. Even if you feel like the entire world is against you, God's love is still there, and so is His peace. The best thing in our lives is His peace, if we can live a peaceful life we will always be happiest! The definition of the word peace is,  "Freedom from disturbance; tranquility" If we lived a life and let nothing disturb us, thoughts or even...

Sooner Than You Think.

"Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord." Psalms 27:14 We always think something is going to take longer than it really is. Whatever you're praying for or waiting on is about to happen even sooner than you thought. Don't worry so much about if it will happen, it will, and it won't take as long as you thought. You are learning something in this time that you'll understand later. Times in the waiting teach us things that getting it in the moment never could. If you're having to wait for something from God be prepared for Him to give you more than you asked for. You haven't gotten it yet because if you had you wouldn't appreciate it as much as having to wait for it. When you're waiting for something you should be expecting it to happen anytime and any day. God knows when it will happen, but He also knows when you will need it and appreciate it the very most. Today hold on to your courage, God is maki...

The Strength Behind The Rock.

"So David triumphed over the Philistine with only a sling and a stone, for he had no sword." 1 Samuel 17:50 The enemy fights each of us in different ways but we all deal with battles within, one thing I have learned is that the enemy never wins! The one who gets their strength from God never runs out of strength. Our strength is found in Christ alone as Christians. When we feel like we are losing the war, God sends us strength in the right moment to pull through. When we kneel to God, He stands for us, and no matter who it is or what circumstance He always wins in the end. When Jesus died the enemy thought He won, but three days later Jesus showed him who really won.  Look at David, I'm sure when he told everyone he was going to fight Goliath they thought he was crazy. David didn't have faith that his slingshot would be strong enough instead, he had faith that God's strength was strong enough. Goliath was a giant, and David was short, I'm sure Goliath thought...

Be Patient!

"But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patiences, kindness, goodness, faithfulness," Galatians 5:22 Patiences is one of the hardest things for us to learn to use in every situation. I personally had to learn to be patient even when I'm mad, but most of all even when I am hurt. If we have no patiences we will walk around hurting people who didn't hurt us. We need to learn to be patient when people are trying their hardest, even if that means taking longer than we'd like. Be more patient in situations. When the red light takes too long enjoy the music, when someone is rude with you smile and walk away, when you're in a long line be patient, and even when you're mad don't lash out you might regret what you say. Patiences is so important in our lives. We have to work on it. Here are some verses to reflect on today. "Finishing is better than starting. Patiences is better than pride." Ecclesiastes 7:8 ...

God Is Giving You Back Double What You Lost!

"For I have stayed on Go's paths; I have followed his ways and not turned aside." Job 23:11 If you've ever read the story of Job you know that the enemy tested Job and took everything from him but he still trusted in God. How many times in our lives has something been taken away and we get mad and blame God when we shouldn't because if it was God who took it away He always sends something better in return? Next time something is taken away, let it go, God is sending better. At the end of the book of Job God says, "I gave him back double what he had before." God let the enemy test Job because God knew Job was a faithful servant and could make it through the test faithfully. Take time to remind yourself what's lost is sometimes best to be gone. Let God send you the best things in life. In the will of God is the happiest place you could ever be, and sometimes God takes things away to get you there. Not everyone and not everything is meant to go into eve...

Let Your Will To Please God Outweigh Your Will To Please The World.

"Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take." Proverbs 3:6  Your focus in life is very important, if your focus is always on making other people like you then you'll never become the person you're meant to be. You have to put your focus on God, and pleasing Him. When we set our minds on whether is this what God wants, then we begin to walk in our destiny. People can always lead you wrong, but God never will. As a child, we never wanted to disappoint our parents, and that was good, but as we grow up we learn that it's more important to not disappoint God. Your eternity is more important than what others think about you and how they view you as a person. Today spend time in prayer and ask God if your life is pleasing to Him because the world's view of you doesn't matter. When your will to please God outweighs your will to please the world that's when you're on the right path. You have to align your plans with God's beca...

Forgiveness Isn't Earned, It's Given.

"Who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to of what is good." Titus 3:14 We are going to make mistakes, we are going to sin, and most defiantly fall short of God's glory, but God already knew that, that is why He sent Jesus to die for our sins while we were still sinners. Before Jesus came into the world and made that great sacrifice they had to take the most perfect lamb, one with no spots, and use it as a sacrifice. That explains why Jesus never sinned although He faced temptation the same way we all do, He had to be the perfect lamb. We always feel like we can't go to God if we mess up, but that isn't how it is, God sent Jesus to let Him be the ultimate sacrifice where we could be forgiven easier. Jesus is our one-way ticket into heaven, we have to believe God raised Him from the dead, He lives again in heaven, and will come again someday. We don't have the time to waste, let J...

His Promise Still Stands.

"For I know the plans I have for you," says the Lord. "They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope." Jeremiah 29:11 The promise still stands just because you don't see or feel the change doesn't mean that God hasn't started working on it yet. When baking a cake you add all the ingredients and mix them together, you see no sign of it looking like a cake and if you were to pick it up it defiantly wouldn't feel like one, but that doesn't mean that it isn't in the process of becoming one. You're not feeling or seeing it yet because God is still working on the mixing process, He's adding each ingredient and being precise with it to have the perfect outcome for you. You will soon know the promise is near, or maybe when it's delivered is when you'll know. If you're waiting on a promise that you've got before don't always expect God to come through in the same way, sometimes it's more ...
