Pray For Answers, Boast Of God's Signs.

"This boasting will do no good, but I must go on. I will reluctantly tell about visions and revelations from the Lord." 2 Corinthians 12:1  When we boast about God for others to hear it works on some people, others not so much, sometimes we have to tell others of the things God brought us through, signs God showed us when we felt no hope, dreams God gave us. Sometimes it takes that for others to listen. When we have a dream at night or even a dream in our hearts sometimes it's God showing us which path to take. My personal way that I like to pray for something to be known, like what I should do is I ask God with an honest heart what I should do, to show me a sign, it can be a bible verse that pops out to me that day, someone coming to me to tell me something they felt to, or just a simple sign, a feeling in my heart maybe. That's how I usually ask God to show me which path to take. Everyone has their own way, and that's okay. I just thought I'd share mine wit...

It's Okay To Be Corrected.

"Mockers hate to be corrected, so they stay away from the wise." Proverbs 15:12 We all are guilty of pushing peoples opinions and advice away when we feel like they are criticizing us, we feel like they're questioning our view on things. We should be thankful for the leaders and people in our lives who want to help where they can. Next time someone comes to you with advice take it at least under consideration before you get angry and feel corrected. Remember as a kid when someone would tell us not to do something or get upset at us for doing something they asked us not to we would cry, it would upset us that we were being corrected. Next time you feel like God is correcting you and teaching you not to do something just think of it like this. We have a God that loves us so much that he doesn't want us to do wrong, He wants to share His heavenly home with us. He lost his life so we could live it with him for eternity. So next time you feel correction, thank God for cor...

Even When I Don't Feel It You're Working.

"Jesus replied, "You don't understand now what I am doing but someday you will." John 13:7 When you feel like your situation isn't changing no matter how hard you pray, no matter how much fait you feel you still feel like you're in the same situation with no new results. Just listen to this song called Way Maker, the lyrics say, "Even when I don't see it you're working, even when I don't feel it you're working, You never stop, you never stop working." As in when we are going through hard times and we see nothing being changed God is always at work behind the scenes. When you feel nothing changing he's changing the things that need to be changed before you can have your situation changes. Sometimes we want results immediately but God says "wait on Me, let me fix this." If God is the one fixing your situation you will never go wrong, you'll never have to worry. God fixes things perfect, you never have to look back an...

A Thankful Heart Is A Happy Heart.

"Devote yourselves to prayer with an alert mind and a thankful heart." Colossians 4:2 Sometimes when we are going through hard times we forget to be thankful for the things we do have. We have to have a thankful heart and be grateful for the things we do have. When we focus on the bad things we forget the good things God has done for us. Remember your current situation is not your final destination. You will find a way out of your situation, if only you put your trust in God and focus on the good things God has set before us. Pray and focus on God's plans for your life instead of the ones you have planned for yourself. The Bible tells us that His plans for us are even greater than we can imagine, we need to focus on things above. When we focus on things above we forget the things going on around us. It helps us in our situations, and also brings us closer to God. Just focus on the good things coming into your life instead of the losses you've taken over time. When God...

Make Your Relationship Based On Christ.

"Then the Lord God said, 'it is not good that the man should be alone; I will make a helper fit for him." Genesis 2:18 When we get in a relationship sometimes we forget about God, when the case should be we help each other become closer with God. Today if you're in a relationship try to help your partner grow a better relationship with God, try doing devotions together even if they're 3 minutes a day. My husband and I before we got married had the Bible app and we done a shared a devotion, where we could also leave each other notes at the end of our readings. We all have phones, laptops or iPads so today try that. Even if it's a couples devotional it'll help you both in your daily life. When you feel like your relationship is falling apart remember to build your foundation on Christ. Couples who pray together, stay together. You have to build each other up, today help your partner pray for them without them even knowing for the things they are struggling w...

The Best Is Yet To Come

"That is what the Scriptures mean when they say, "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mid has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him." 1 Corinthians 2:9 I came across a quote this morning that really helped me, "Always remember that your present situation is not your final destination. The best is yet to come." When we go through something we tend to think in our minds there is no way out. That we can't see a way out, so there's no way that it'll work out. What we should remember that God will make a way when there seems to be no way. There's this song my dad sings in church and the lyrics say, "It maybe night in your life but soon you'll see the day." Always remember the sun will shine again. God never goes back on his promises, when we go into a battle He will be right there to bring you out of it. You'll never go through something that God isn't able to bring us out of. God will bring you through wh...

If God Brough You To It, He Will Bring You Through it.

"The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so you can endure."  Today's thought is "If God brought you to it, He will bring you through it." Let's break this down, brought means "take or go with (someone or something) to a place." Through means "continuing in time toward completion (a process or period.) So let's think of it like this "If God brought you to it, he will go with you, as you continue through the process and you will make it through and be okay." Today remember you will be okay. God never sends you into a situation alone, he goes before you, beside you, and behind you. When you feel alone God is the only a prayer away. He is always near to us. Hold to God's promises. When life throws you a curve ball remember God is never surprised by your circumsta...

Don't Repay Evil For Evil.

"Alexander the coppersmith did me much harm, but the Lord will judge him for what he has done." 2 Timothy 4:14 Next time someone does you wrong or upsets you think of things this way, God will be the one to take care of it. God never meant for us to hurt others back when they hurt us. We might be hurt, upset, or angry but God is the ultimate judge of our lives, he has the last say so. He is the one who will chose our eternity, he's the one who. judges everything we have done on earth and will decided what our hearts are really like. We can all look at someone and think "wow they're rude" but God looks on the heart, He's the one who sees how they are all the time not based on one statement. When someone is rude to you next time smile at them, show them kindness, no matter how much they hurt you. You're not the one to decide their fate or the one to pay them back for their wrongs. Leave it to God, he will decided what they deserve. the Bible says ...

Become Humble To God.

"So we don't look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever." 2 Corinthians 4:18 When we go through things we tend to only focus on the trouble around us, we forget that we serve a God who will never give up on us or give in. We also tend to fix our thoughts on the troubles of life instead of things that last forever. We should focus on the peace of God rather than our circumstances. Next time your going through something really difficult, focus on God's peace instead of your situation. Focus on his love for you, if he died on a cross to save us from our sins, raised the dead to life, gave miracles, and forgave the unforgivable, then he can change your circumstance in an instant. Sometimes it takes us coming to God in a humble manner for him to give us what we ask, when we come to him and say, "Dear God, I don't understand ...

Do Your Best And Let God Do The Rest.

"In view of all this, make every effort to respond to God's promises. Supplements your faith with a generous provision of moral excellence, and moral excellence with knowledge." 2 Peter 1:5 When God promises you something you have to make effort also. I have always been scared of the dentist,  I hate going. I had to get a tooth pulled, I was 19 years old at the time and never had a tooth pulled. As I booked the dentist appointment while I was having to take antibiotics and I ended up putting it off until I couldn't take to pain anymore. I was terrified of the dentist. I talked to my dad about it and the statement he said to me stuck with me even to this day, "Sometimes even when we are scared we have to do our part and let God do the rest." It's something that always helps me, maybe it can help you too. If you do your best God will do the rest, when God makes promises he always intends to keep them but we have to work at them too. Such as if God promise...

Ask Anything And It Will Be Given.

"But if you remain in me and my words remain in you, you may ask for anything you want, and it will be granted!" John 15:7 This verse is powerful if you think on it. Think about it this way, how parents are for their kids on Christmas, they always try their best to give their children the best gifts they can. My dad tells a story a lot around Christmas and it never gets old for me, he wanted a go kart as a child and his dad didn't have enough money for it, his dad saved up the most he could and still was short some. So his dad went and sold something that was sentimental to him in order to afford the go cart for my dad. He had enough afterwards so they went and picked it up. My dad never forgot what my grandpa done for him. That's the same way Jesus is. He wants us to have the things we want and desire to have. He wants to give us all we could ever need. All we have to do is ask and it will be given to us. We also shouldn't rush when it will be given though, even...

Make Effort For Your Relationship With God.

"He tried to get a look at Jesus, but he was too short to see over the crowd. So he ran ahead and climbed a sycamore-fig tree beside the road, for Jesus was going to pass that way. When Jesus came by, he looked up at Zacchaeus and called. him by name. "Zacchaeus!" he said. "Quick, come down! I must be a guest in your home today." Luke 19:3-5  The effort that Zacchaeus made is the same effort we should all make just to see Jesus. He was too short to see over the crowd so he climbed a tree just to see Jesus. Jesus wants us all to make that kind of effort daily just to see him, to talk with him, tell him about our day, if you want a relationship with Him you have to put effort in daily. If you're in a relationship with someone you're going to talk to them daily, if possible. The same should be with Jesus, He should be the first person you spend time with and the last of each day. When you wake up spend time with God, do it throughout the day and before you...

Your Sins Are Forgiven, You Are Free.

"Put on your new nature, created to be like God- truly righteous and holy. So stop telling lies. Let us tell our neighbors the truth, for we are all parts of the same body." Ephesians 4:24-25 When we devote our lives to God and turn to him we become a new creation, we become more righteous and we tend to change. When people know us from before we became a new creation they tend to bring up the past versions of ourselves, which no longer exist. We are made new in Christ, and change our lifestyles and habits. We can never go wrong changing for the good. I read a quote recently that really stuck with me, "trying to hurt me by bringing up my past is like trying to rob empty house, no one lives there anymore." Which is how we should view our past selves. We all have fallen short of the glory of God, but he made a way for us to be forgiven when he sent his one and only son to die for our sins. Today remember your past no longer defines you, you are called for greater thi...

His Promise Still Stands.

"This truth gives them confidence that they have eternal life, which God- who does not Leo- promised them before the world began." Titus 1:2  God never lies to us. When he tells us something he means it. He is not like this world where people promise things they don't intend to keep, God makes promises to us forever. When the flood happened in Noah's day God promised to never flood the earth like that again, he left the rainbow as a reminder that his promise will never be taken back. When you think back to a promise God made to you, remember it's just the same as the promise he made to never flood the earth again, he means it just as much as that promise. Today if you're feeling like giving up on something because you think the promise of God is no longer standing in your life remember he never takes His words back, he never lies, he doesn't even stretch the truth. He means what He says, today lean on his promises to keep you sane in this world. You're...

Be Slow To Anger.

"And "don't sin by letting anger control you." Don't let the sun go down while you are still angry, for anger gives a foothold to the devil." Ephesians 4:26-27 Let's be honest, we all tend to get angry. At times it's over the smallest things that just set us off, maybe it's just the way someones attitude is towards us or the way someone looks at us. If we're trying to be the best christians possible we have to work on not letting anger get in the way of who we are meant to be. There is a good time to be angry and there's a bad time. Such as, Jesus got angry because they were turning what was supposed to be God's house into a marketplace. We should get angry for things of good. People having to be homeless should anger us, or children starving, people not getting to know Christ because their country doesn't allow teachings of it, someone being mistreated, theses are all things that should anger us. We all have fallen short of God...

Ask God For Advice

"We love each other because he loved us first." 1 John 4:19 We are able to love and be loved by others because God sent his son to earth to show us how to love. When we're in a relationship sometimes we tend to go through tough times in it, or a so called rough patch. We have to remember that the bad times don't last forever. If they're the person God has made for you then you'll never have to question where you stand with them, it will be certain where you stand. There will be hard times in the relationship, arguments and maybe even breakups, but at the end of the day your love will only grow stronger for them.  Even though you might not see things working our between you and someone always remember that God can change someones heart in an instant. I never saw my husband coming, I wasn't even looking for a relationship when I met him. If I'm being completely honest with you, I actually rejected him at first. I wasn't ready for anything and never ...

Finish what you started.

"Finishing is better than starting. Patience is better than pride." Ecclesiastes 7:8 When we start a project we all tend to grow weary and stop trying as hard on it or stop before it's finished, I am terrible at this myself. Procrasination gets the best of all of us. When I started these blogs I had planned to do them once a week and somehow I ended up doing them everyday. This is something I pray to continue daily, they do take time to write and find a verse I feel lead to write on daily but the outcome will be worth it. God called me to do this I felt in my heart and when you follow what God has called you to do you will be rewarded greatly. Today if God has lead you to do something please do it, you'll never regret following God's plan for your life. What if Jesus hadn't finished His plans to die for our sins when he came to earth? We would be lost and living in sin. Thank God He did, follow out your plans when God sets them before you, just as Jesus done. ...

Love Is...

"Love is patient and is kind. Love doesn't envy. Love doesn't brag, is not proud." 1 Corinthians 13:4  This verse is so pure and sweet, if we really think on it its how love really should be. I read a quote once that stated, put the persons name that you're with or wanting to be with in the place of the word love, if they are all those things they are the one. It's honestly something to think on. What came to me today though was instead of always focusing on if the other person in the relationship is giving enough we should make sure we're giving enough also, we should replace the word love with our name. We should always as christians not only be like this in relationships but in our lives all the time. God is always patient and kind, and doesn't brag, he's not proud. God is ever so perfect, as we will never be. God is an example to us though. Jesus came down to die for our sins, in the time he was here on earth he was so kind to others, always re...

You Are Worthy, You Are Qualified, You Are Beautiful.

"You are altogether beautiful, my darling, beautiful in every way." Song of Songs 4:7 The world today teaches us we must be up to their standards, but that's not the truth. God created you perfect, you are made just the way you are for a reason. We all go through really hard time where we have to learn to love ourselves. We all struggle with self worth, but the truth be told it doesn't matter if we're not worthy enough for all the things that God has planned for us. He made plans for us before we were born, we aren't supposed to be worthy enough to fulfill God's plans for our lives. God didn't ask if we were worthy, qualified, or good enough. He simply chose each of us for a task to spread the gospel. I read a quote once that stated, "God doesn't call the qualified, He qualifies the called" and it's so true. God didn't send Joesph to Egypt ready to be a king, God qualified him to be a king. Esther was not qualified to be a queen, ...

Do NOT fear, Jesus is near.

"So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." Isaiah 41:10  I once read a quote that stated the Bible says 'do not fear' 365 times which is a daily reminder to live each day being fearless. It always stuck with me, although fear is not from God at all we all tend to let it slip through the cracks and really get to us. We must always be fearless in our faith, and in our lives.  We can't let fear get the best of us, we have to fulfill the purpose God has set before us. I'm going to be honest with y'all I was so scared to start this blog, I was scared of what people might say or make fun of me for it. I had it on my heart to start a blog since late August, and I kept putting it off until I finally thought about it enough and realized it doesn't matter what people say about you, it matters that God called you to do something to help someone. No...

Give Where You Can

"Your love has given me much joy and comfort, my brother, for your kindness has often refreshed hearts of God's people." Philemon 1:7  This is how we as christians should be, we should always try to be the comfort and light in someones life, not the one who brings on more stress with what they're going through. We should always help those in need when we can, yes there are times we aren't able to help, but when we are able to and feel lead to we always should. There are so many people that go through silent battles, maybe even you are going through one, and when you are you just want to know someone is there, someone that will listen. So today if you see a stranger give them a soft smile, help where you can, give what you can. Sometimes all someone needs is a hug or just someone to talk to. Be the light and joy in someones life today as you would want in yours. Here are today's verses to reflect on. "Light shines on the godly, and joy on those whose heart...

Pick Up Your Cross And Follow Christ

"Then he said to the crowd, "If any of you wants to be my follower you must give up your own way, take up your cross daily, and follow me." Luke 9:23 This verse is actually so deep if you think on it, it says "you must pick up your cross DAILY." It doesn't say once a week, when you go to church pr once a month it says DAILY. Everyday when we wake up the first thing we should do is thank God for giving us another day, thank Him for blessing us with a nights rest, and then we should read his word. When you wake up late for work and say "but I don't have time" listen to a podcast of someone reading the word while on your way to work, or  listen to the christian radio. Just beginning your day with God and His word will change the atmosphere of your day. You'll have your mindset more on your blessings than things you're lacking. So tomorrow whenever you wake up, focus more on God and his plan for your day. Start your day with Him and be tha...

Ask For Wisdom, As Needed.

"If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking." James 1:5 This verse is amazing, if you really think about it. Not only does it state that God gives us wisdom when we ask it also says, He won't push us away when we do. He never gets tired of us asking for wisdom about situations. If we go to God before we make decisions we can never go wrong. If you're looking to buy a house, buy a new car, or even finding the perfect person for you, ask God for wisdom today about your situation. He will always come through right on time and show you which path to take. You will never have to second guess if you done the right thing if you only listen to God. His plans are always better if we listen to him.  Here are some verses to reflect on today. "We can make our plans, but the Lord directs our steps." Proverbs 16:9 "Wise people think before they act; fools don't-- and even brag about their foolishness....

Being Made New

'Put on your new nature, created to be like God—truly righteous and holy. ' Ephesians 4:24 Today let's focus on being a new creation in Christ. God changed us when we became christians, he's formed us into the way he wanted us made. He also has changed us into the people he wants us to be. Today if it feels like you're in an uncomfortable situation just remember change is never comfortable. Think of it like this, they say that when the butterfly is in it's cocoon it is the most stressful time for it, as it's being changed from a caterpillar to a butterfly. If you think about it that's how it is for us, we go through really stressful times in life, but when we come out of it we're the most beautiful we have ever been and the most free. Let's focus on how beautiful we will be when God is done forming us into our new creation. When God is getting ready to level you up,  you'll begin to be uncomfortable. That's just part of the growing proc...

NO Weapon Formed Against You Will succeed.

"But in that coming day no weapon turned against you will succeed. You will silence every voice raised up to accuse you. These benefits are enjoyed by the servants of the Lord; their vindication will come from me. I, the Lord, have spoken." Isaiah 54:17 This verse is such a powerful verse if you really think about it, it's stating that no matter who or what the enemy makes or throws against you will never prosper. That God will protect you every part of life. When we live for God we're not the only things changed, the things around us are also changed. All the roadblocks, the hard times, the people who stand up against us, even our heartbreaks they are all made into good for our lives. Every time you see someone or a situation coming against you, remember you serve a God bigger than anything you can ever imagine. The God of angel armies is always by your side. Today here are some verses to reflect on. "For I know the plans I have for you," says the Lord. ...

Be The Light

"For once you were full of darkness, but now you have light from the Lord. So live as people of light!" Ephesians 5:8 This year one of my main new year resolutions was to be a light to everyone I meet or can share the gospel with. I have stuck to it every chance I've have got. We were created to let our lights shine to everyone we meet. This year go above and beyond to show everyone the kindness of Christ. If you seem different to some people that's okay. We as christians are meant to stand out, we are meant to share the gospel every chance we get. If you think about it the disciples did, they were so called "different" but they were the main light of Christ because they were close with him all the time. They began to be like him, same with us when we grow closer to Christ. We are now the disciples of Christ. We're the ones God created to show everyone how amazing our living God is. Today go the extra mile to help someone, to smile at a stranger, to give...

Abundant Blessings Are Coming.

"Your crops will be abundant, for I will guard them from insects and disease. Your grapes will not fall from the vine before they are ripe," says the Lord of Heaven's Armies." Malachi 3:11  The word "abundant" has came to me a lot recently, and when that happens at random times I know it's from God usually. When I went to find a verse today on what I should write on this is the verse I came across. I then knew for sure God was speaking to me about the word abundant. So I looked up the meaning, it means "plenty, more than enough". This year on the very first blog I made of 2022 I declared blessings for all of us, this is a conformation for each of us, God will bless us. Not a little bit, but plenty, more than enough. This is the year for healing, let's not focus so much on our own strength but on God's. God will always give us a way to make it through even our hardest days, let's focus on God not the storm. Let's get ready for o...

God knows before it even comes to past.

"When Judas had eaten the bread, Satan entered into him. Then Jesus told him, "Hurry and do what you're going to do." John 13:27 - I seen this verse in a new light tonight, I had never seen it like this before. In that verse it says "Satan entered into him." I never payed attention to that part. I also had a revelation on it. That God knew Satan's plans before they even came to past. God knew Satan's thoughts before he planned them. If God didn't He wouldn't have sent His only son to earth, He knew that Jesus would be betrayed and be hung on the cross. God always knows what's going to happen before it does. If you're feeling isolated from the world today, take a second look at it. Maybe God is isolating you for your protection. I seen this quote from the Pastor Steven Furtick today before I even decided to do this verse and it all ties in together now. I understand why I saw it, but this is what it said. "Jesus went to a lonely ...

Let God Be Your Shield.

"For the Lord God is a sun and a shield. The Lord will give grace and glory. He withholds no good thing from those who walk blamelessly." Psalm 84:11 God never wants us to see sadness and pain, he wants us to always have good things. The Lord wants us to let him be the light and shield in our lives, he wants us to experience his grace and glory, he wants to give us all the good things of life. We must be willing to accept those things though when he sends them. I myself am guilty of not wanting to accept help when needed, but when it comes to God's grace I will never been good enough to earn it, but he gives it to each of us anyways. We must accept his help, all the time. God wants us to depend on him and to put our trust in him. Today begin to give all the worries and doubts to God let him handle them, also let him show you what amazing things he has in store for you. Trust God today and welcome his wonderful grace in your life. Here are some verses reflect on today. ...

We declare blessings this year.

"The Lord your God will then make you successful in everything you do. He will give you many children and numerous livestock, and he will cause your fields to produce abundant harvests, for the Lord will again delight on being good to you as he was to your ancestors." Deuteronomy 30:9 This year is going to be the year you are blessed, if we begin a year depending on God and His strength we will see His blessings. This year let's focus on the blessings that God sends into our lives, I know the last few years have been hard on all of us. Especially, with a pandemic, but God is going to show us the good in all of this. I know we all have fear of the future and fear of what our circumstances might become but God's love and blessings will follow us everywhere we go. I pray blessings on each and everyone of you right now, all who read this. I cannot wait for the blessings of God to flow in this year. We must remember that we might make our plans but the Lord directs our ste...

It all works together for the good

"And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them." Romans 8:28. This verse has been on my mind today. I seen it in a new way tonight the I really began to read it. "God causes everything to work together for the good" let's think on that for a minute. When God removes someone from our lives we don't always view it as good, when we run late for work we don't always see it as good, when it rains and we're wishing for the sun to shine we don't always see it as the good, even when were going through a hard time that we think we can't get through we don't see it as good. Here's the side you didn't see. He removed that person from your life because you were called to a higher purpose they couldn't follow you on that journey, you ran late for work because you would've been involved in a wreck if you had of left on time, you wet through th...
