You're Blessed.

"As the Scriptures say, "If you want to boast, boast only about the Lord." 2 Corinthians 10:17  We all want to brag about how good of a grade we get on a test, when we get a new car, new house, nicer clothes, or the newest shoes and it's okay to be thankful but it's not good to boast and make others feel like the don't have enough. We all are blessed in different ways, we have to remember that the greatest blessing ever is for all of us, freedom in Christ. He came down to earth, and died for our sins. He was the greatest blessing to ever happen. Next time you hear others bragging on the new things they get and you seem to feel bad because maybe you don't have the newest phone, car, house, clothes or shoes remember you're not lacking in what really matters. The Bible tells us to focus on things above not things on earth, those things will fade away but the word of God will stand forever. We have to share what we know about Christ to help others find th...

Here I Am Send Me.

"Then I heard the Lord asking, "Whom should I send as a messenger to this people? Who will go for us?" I said, "Here I am. Send me." Isaiah 6:8  Reading this verse, saying it out loud and following it through are all completely different things. We can tell God we are submitting to him but it doesn't mean we actually are. We have to do whatever He ask of us, and have faith He will see us through. I've always had the desire to be a missionary, but as I grew older I was scared of heights and didn't want to ride on a plane. I knew that would obviously mess this plan I had up, of being a missionary for other countries. I then had a feeling from God come over me one day, I began to cry because I knew it was from Him, He came to me and said, "You can be a missionary in America, you can travel by car, and still be what you have desired to be." Obviously I haven't accomplished that yet in my life at 21 years old, but my desire was always to ma...

Leave It Up To God.

"Jesus replied, "The son of Man is the farmer who plants the good seed." Matthew 13:37  You wouldn't plant a seed and then dig it up to every few minutes to see if its grown any yet, same goes for putting things in God's hand. When we place things in God's hands, we shouldn't go back and check on it every few minutes. It's like baking a cake, when it's our creation we know when it's done, and it's ready to come out of the oven. The same way God's looking on our situations, He knows how much we can handle. There are times we go through things that we will never understand, we will question if we should give up, or if we should give in, but truth be told that we are strong enough. We just have to place our situations in God's hands and not go back trying to church up on it. We have to trust that God knows best and is working it all out.   I know it's difficult but when you feel like you're doubting God's working it out r...

The One Who Could Throw The First Stone Didn't.

"They kept demanding an answer, so he stood up again and said, "All right, but let the one who has never sinned throw the first stone!" John 8:7 The one who had the right to throw the first stone was Jesus and he chose not to, He knew that everyone had sinned at some point whether it be a little white lie, or something much more. When this story took place everyone was trying to stone a woman for adultery, Jesus knew that none of us would be perfect that's why He came to earth in the first place. When you try to judge others this is how Jesus feels same in this story. If you haven't sinned you're able to throw the first stone. When you feel like judging someone because what they wore to church, what vehicle they drive, the size of their house or even the way they look, think back on this story. The one who was good enough to throw the first stone didn't. He didn't choose to be mean, to be hard on people, He chose to give second chances even when we f...

Be At Peace.

"And you will hear of wars and threats of wars, but don't panic. Yes, these things must take place, but the end won't follow immediately." Matthew 24:6 We are in really tough times right now with wars being talked about, we are all scared and worried. Yes I am blessed enough to live in America where we are free here, but there are soldiers who fight for our freedom. Some will even be sent to fight this war. That's a scary thing for my generation, we have never witnessed a war, everyone is talking about how a war is fixing to break loose. It's very tragic to think that there are soldiers who are going to have to fight for this country, and put their lives on the line. When we think of these things we all tend to panic, it's scary to even think about. I'm a complete over thinker, I will admit. I tend to think the worse in every situation, so when I first heard about this I was so scared. I started to think the worst, but when I found this verse I found ...

Faith Over Doubt.

"Because of Christ and our faith in him, we can now come godly and confidently into God's presence." Ephesians 3:12 When we put our faith over everything else that's when we see progress. There is a quote that I love, "When we put things in God's hand, we soon see God's hand in everything." That's the most beautiful thing, when God puts his hands in all things thats where we see progress. When we are in a situation where we can't see the future or we don't know which way to turn, we have to keep our eyes on God. There is a story in the Bible about Peter and Jesus, they were at a lake, Peter was in a boat, Jesus began to walk on the water, He told Peter to step out of the boat and onto the water. As you can imagine, Peter was terrified, the disciples even asked if it was a ghost. Peter said to Jesus, "Lord, if it's really you, tell me to come to you, walking on the water." Jesus replied to Peter, "Yes, come." Peter ...

The Sun Will Shine Again.

"When I think of all this, I fall to my knees and pray to the Father, the Creator of everything in heaven and on earth." Ephesians 3:14-15 When we are praying so hard for something and we feel like nothing is happening, and God comes in a quick and answers our prayers we usually fall to our knees and thank him. We all go through hard times, we go through valleys and we fight battles we never speak on, but I can tell you one thing. God never leaves, God is the Creator of all the earth, there is nothing he doesn't know, doesn't see, or doesn't understand. There are going to be times in you life where you feel like no one could possibly understand how you feel or what you're going through, but I promise you there is a God who wants you to tell him whats happening, how you're feeling, and how you need his help. He will help you through anything you're going through, He will be the person who is there when everyone else fails to be. There is never a second...

What Would Jesus Do?

"Work hard to enter the narrow door to God's Kingdom, for many will try to enter but will fail." Luke 13:24 We as Christians all inspire to live in heaven with Jesus, but what we have to remember that being righteous enough to get to heaven isn't easy. If it was easy to get into heaven it would be flooded with people. The Bible never will lead us astray from what is right, Jesus tells us himself that its hard to get into heaven. The verse we used today is a red letters verse meaning it's words from Jesus himself. When the time comes for each of our own eternity we will face God and His judgement. We will have to answer for all the things we done wrong, and all the things that we messed up on. When that day comes we can't go back, we can't undo what we done, we can't fix broken friendships, we're done. What we said, what we done, how we treated people, how we acted, the attitude we had, the way we chose to live our lives are all set in stone. It...

Be Patient With Others.

"In the same way, it is not my Heavenly Father's will that even one of these little ones should perish." Matthew 18:14 There are still people in this world that are so far from God, that aren't trying to find him or find a relationship with him, they're honestly running from God and the truth. Let me be honest with you, God didn't intend for this, that's the reason God sent the flood in Noah's day. Also the bible tells us that when the end of time is near to us that it will become like the days of Noah. Today we can all agree that it's becoming like that. There is so much hate in the world. No one cares for others feelings it's all about their own, they don't treat others the way they want to be treated, far from that honestly. People focus on their own futures and plans rather than helping others as we can. We have to share in the heart of Christ and we have to sacrifice our own needs for others. We have to be like Christ and love people ...

You Are No Better Than The Next Person.

"If you think you are too important to help someone, you are only fooling yourself. You are not that important." Galatians 6:3  This verse hits deep, it's super deep it teaches us that we are no better than the next person. We are all equal, not one of us are better than the next, no matter how they sin we all sin. Even if you lie and they do a way worse sin in your eyes, God looks at them all the same. The Bible tells us to be free from sins, and to not judge others. When we start to think we are better than others, we push the ones around us away. When we are around someone who is conceded and think they're better than someone else, we all tend to be annoyed by it, it tends to make us feel less of ourselves or not enough. No one wants to be around someone who seems full of themselves and makes you feel bad all the time. Be the kind of person you want to be around. If you're a nice person everyone will love when you walk in the room, I've always been a super...

Show Love To Others.

"But the person who loves God is one whom God recognizes." 1 Corinthians 8:3 We have to have the love of God in order for him to recognize us. Loving God and having His love inside is are two different things completely. I believe this verse is meaning we must have His love in us. If we only love God we could be distant from Him, hate others, be unkind, and be everything we as Christians shouldn't be. If we have God's love in us, we want to live like him. We want to love people the way Jesus does, we want to help others like Christ, we want to convert sinners into saints. We want people to live a godly life with us, we want others to share in the heavenly home with us. God wants us to be kind and show others the good in being Christians, not the like the ones who judge others. If the first impression of us to a non-Christian is us judging them they're going to think that's all we care about. People always ask me when I invite them to church what they should we...

The Word Is Already There.

"In the beginning the Word already existed. The Word was with God, and the Word was God." John 1:1 When God speaks life into our lives it's already there. Before we were even born or even a thought God spoke life into each of our lives. He knew all that you would face and all the good you would accomplish. He knows you are more than capable of accomplishing all He has called you to be. Now today we are all blessed with the Bible to read and to understand the things we are supposed to do. Before the Bible was even written it was there for God, the Bible tells us in Genesis, that the word existed before the world did. The Bible obviously wasn't written here on earth yet but I believe it was in heaven already. We were created to worship God, there's a verse in the Bible that says The rocks will cry out if we don't. We should worship God, we are made to be a servant of the Lord. He created each of us for our own accomplishments. We have to remember that before th...

Everyday Can Have A Beautiful End.

"At sundown he arrived at a good place to set up camp and stopped there for the night. Jacob found a stone to rest his head against and lay down to sleep." Genesis 28:11 As I watched the sunset the other evening I began to think of a quote I use to love, "Sunsets are beautiful, they teach us that even the worst days can have the most beautiful ending." I smiled as I remembered that quote. I then thought of a time where there was a horrible day for everyone and it did't have a beautiful ending. The sun didn't set that day, it went from day light at noon then to night immediately. That was the day the Savior of the world, our Lord Jesus died for everyone and all the sins they committed and will commit. The verse in the Bible states "By this time it was about noon, and darkness fell across the whole land until 3 o'clock." I'm sure there was a time that evening there was a sunset but when Jesus passed it was a dark day, literally. There was no ...

A Week Can Change A lot.

"On the seventh day God had finished his work of creation, so he rested from all his work." Genesis 2:2 So many times in my life I have been so close to giving up, so close to throwing the towel in, and I have prayed and asked God to tell me it will get better, and He will give me a time where it will be better. He will make a promise to me. Whether it be a month away or a week away, I know when God tells me something like that, that it will come to show that God was right on. I was told once that in a week things would be better, I thought to myself there is no way this is possible. Then God gave me a revelation, he said "If I made the world in seven days, imagine the things I can change in your life in the short amount of time." I then found a peace come over me, I knew I would be okay. I knew God was working it out, I was so excited. That next week came around and things were much better! When God gives you a timeline trust in Him. If things are hard this week r...

Don't Be Lazy.

"Never be lazy, but work hard and serve the Lord enthusiastically." Romans 12:11 We all tend to be lazy at times and procrastinate, and that's okay. Even God took a day of rest after making the world. He wants us to have a day of rest, but we can't let it take over and make us live everyday like that. We have to be productive and spread the good news of Christ. I personally have a list of things I do every morning, It makes me feel productive even if it's a day I'm spending at home. Every Sunday and Monday my entire family is off work, so every Monday I try my best to get up shower, do the dishes, dust the living room and dining room and I sometimes do a little extra. I remind myself that the day before on Sunday is a day of rest from the long hard week, it's a day of peace and relaxation. The best thing we can do is set a routine for ourselves, we have to let God give us the strength to do the things needed to get done. Today be a little more hard workin...

You Are Healed Through Faith.

"For she thought to herself, "If I can just touch his robe, I will be healed." Mark 5:28 If only we had faith like this woman in the Bible imagine the mountains we could move. She had enough faith to know that if she got close enough to Jesus her faith, would make her healed. There are so many times in the Bible that Jesus says "Your faith has made you healed." I for one could use healing anytime, we all go through things we don't talk about or want the world to know, and that's okay, but we at least should let Jesus know. We have to have enough faith to know that if we go to him in prayer then we will be healed, He wants us to trust Him. He wants us to know that faith in Him is more than enough to receive blessings from Him, we all make mistakes and go through things. Our faith is what is most important, we have to know that if only we come to a humble place and say "God your will not mine, I cannot do this on my own. I have faith that you'll ...

If We Deny Christ, He Will Deny Us.

"Fear not; you will no longer live in shame. Don't be afraid; there is no more disgrace for you. You will no longer remember the shame of your youth and the sorrows of widowhood." Isaiah 54:4 When we deny being a christian because it "doesn't look cool" imagine how God feels, it would be like being bestfriend's with someone and when you're around a crowd them pretending to not even know you. This has been heavy on my heart to write about, I see so many christians being full of Christ and knowing He is the true God but not wanting to show it on social media, or to show it around their friends because of  "embarrassment." Just imagine getting to heaven, where God is going to judge you, and Him saying "There is a lot of people around, it might be embarrassing to claim you." That would be terrible. If we deny Christ he will deny us, we have to be Christ like no matter who we are around, no matter who we are talking to, no matter who s...

Stick To Your Desires.

"Watch out that you do no lose what we have worked so hard to achieve. Be diligent so that you receive your full reward." 2 John 1:8  When God puts a desire in your heart we have to stick to it for our full reward, we have to remember that God puts desires in our hearts for a reason. The Bible tells us that God will give us the desires of our heart, when we start a task for God I know it's hard to stick to it sometimes. It doesn't matter if you was called to be a Sunday school teacher, a door greeter for the church, someone who cleans the church, or just someone who spreads the word at work or school, Jesus called you to do that for a reason. He sees the potential you have, He knows you're more than able to succeed as what He called for you to do, when God puts a desire in our hearts whether it be career path, to be a spouse, to be a good mom someday, to be a friend always, or even to be something in the ministry he knows the future and knows we are able. He know...

God Is With You.

"One night the Lord spoke to Paul in a vision and told him, "Don't be afraid! Speak out! Don't be silent! For I am with you, and no one will attack you and harm you, for many people in this city belong to me." Acts of the Apostles 18:9-10  When God sends you into a new realm of life or gives you a break through, He is standing right with you. No one can harm you or attack you, He is your protector and creator of all things. When you feel like things are falling apart and everyone is against you God is for you, it doesn't matter who's against you. When one chapter in our life closes, God will open a better page. When you're going into the best chapter of your life, don't forget to pray as much on your best day as you do on your worst. When we get what we want we tend to forget God when we get what we prayed for, we have to remember who protects us everyday and in our sleep at night. When we are being hated by the world for our Christian views just...

Faith Is Believing.

"Faith shows the reality of what we hope for; it is the evidence of things we cannot see." Hebrews 11:1  I was watching a TBN the channel today and they showed where Jesus walked, and I thought wouldn't it have been amazing if Jesus had been born in today's timing, there would've been pictures made of Him, Jesus all over the news for His miracles, it would've been easier for the non-believers to see Jesus and knew Him to be true. I then realized soon as that thought was in my mind that God sent his only Son into a day where there was no proof, because believing in something that you can see is easy, but trusting God to be real is a proof of faith. He made it where we must trust Him to be real, to perform miracles, and to live in our hearts. When we believe in something God is telling us without any proof it's a real show of our faith. We prove to God that we don't only have faith we have trust in Him and His word. We believe in Him without seeing Him i...

Eternity Is Serious.

"From eternity to eternity I am God. No one can snatch anyone out of my hand. No one can undo what I have done." Isaiah 43:13 I was on a social media live the other night, when I couldn't sleep, I felt that I should go through each live and comment something inspirational around the lines of "Jesus loves you. No matter what you're going through it gets better. You are not alone."As I commented those words to each live I joined in on I had mostly good responses, but some not so much. One replied "Really? Thats all he told you to tell me?" I was remaining kind, and said something else politely, they then respond with "I've already realized I'm going down stairs, if you know what I mean, and I'm okay with that." That is when it hit me, people today take eternity so lightly. My dad recently preached about how once you pass away there is no going back,  no fixing mistakes, minding relationships and friendships, it's the end. No...

He Will Never Leave You.

"There is one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is over all, in all and living through all."  Ephesians 4:5-6 No matter how many people don't believe it, there truly is only one God. No matter how you look at it there will never be another God. Yes some believe in others, but it doesn't make them true gods. The one true God will never leave you or forsake you. That verse has been coming to me over and over about God not leaving us. It gives me a sense of peace, to know that no matter what I am going through or will go through God is right beside me. He never leaves me, never forgets me, never leaves me to be alone. When ever we feel like everyone leaves our lives, God never will. When you are feeling scared know that God will never leave you, he's right beside you. On the good days God is still there. When you get what you are praying for right now don't forget God. He's the reason your prayers got answered. When we tend to have...

There Is A God.

"As for the rest of you, dear brothers and sisters, never get tired of good." 2 Corinthians 3:13 When someone shuts us down for sharing our faith to them we tend to grow weary of doing good, and sharing the gospel. We have to stick to what we know to be true, the one true God. He is the one who created the heavens and the earth. When people try to tell me there isn't a way there is a God, I remind them that if they say that to be true then why do they believe history books? There isn't any proof to back that up other than words. We believe Christoper Columbus sailed across the world and found America. Why do they trust science when since even teaches there was great flood? No matter how you look at life you can never say there isn't a God. There are so many ways you can see his beauty, look at the ocean, the clouds, sunsets, rivers and mountains. He made all of those things, and look at the beauty in them, the same goes for you. You might feel insecure at times bu...

Share The Gospel.

"For the Lord is the Spirit, and wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom." 2 Corinthians 3:17 This verse tells us that no matter where we are if God's Spirit is in us we have freedom. I am so thankful to live in a country where we have freedom. Home of the free because of the brave. Thankfully we have amazing people in our country that God has called to fight for our freedom, each solider is appreciated. I pray for our country and those fighting for it, also for the families who lost loved ones who fought for our country. Even though we have freedom of speech, freedom to be who we want, and freedom to be christians here in America not all countries have that freedom like us. There are people who are soldiers of Christ and go to other countries where they even kill people for teaching of Christ. People put their lives on the line just to tell people that there is a God and there is eternal life. No matter how you chose to share the word of God, God is thankfu...

God Is Still On The Throne.

"Your throne, O God, endures forever and ever. You rule with a scepter of justice." Psalms 45:6 Things around us might change but God is still on the throne. He's never once left. When you feel the chaos around you and inside of you remember that God is still in charge. He has never once forgotten about you, he's never once over looked you.  Just because you don't see the blessings flowing in for you and you see them flowing in for everyone around you, doesn't mean God has forgotten you. He is never slow to his promises, He is doing it in all due time. We have to be patient even when it's difficult, because only God knows the way we can overcome our changes and fears. He's the one who knows all, when we feel overwhelmed remember God is still on the throne. He is watching all, He knows all, He is never taken by surprise. We must trust God in the middle of all our problems and chaos because he is the one and true God. He is on the throne and He will not...

God Will Calm The Storm.

"But the Lord is faithful he will strengthen you and guard you from the evil one." 2 Thessalonians 3:3 When life is hard and we feel like we have no strength to go on remember that God will give us the strength. When we feel like we can't see through the storm, and bad things keep coming God will protect you from the evil one. You don't have to worry about what people have said about you, what people wish bad on you, or what people want you to fail. At the end of the day God will protect you, and he will give you the strength to go on. Even if he lets the storms come he will help us through them, just because he allows storms isn't a bad thing, sometimes God allows bad things in our life to remind us whose in charge. I'm one who loves to be in control of things in my life, to know they will go as planned. That's not the case though, in reality we have a God who is in charge of all. No matter what the storm is in your life God is more than capable of givin...

Don't Let Temptation Stop You.

"The seeds on the rocky soil represent those who hear the message and receive it with joy. But since they don't have deep roots, they believe for a while, then they fall away when they face temptation." Luke 8:13 There is a part of this verse that really stuck out to me, it's the part that said 'They believe for a while, then they fall away when they face temptation.' If you think about it we all are guilty of doing this, when God tells us something and we hold to his promise, but the hard times come in, the storm sets in, and we lose that faith and fall back into our bad patterns. We all have done it, even myself. I was so strong in my faith at one point, I read my bible everyday and done devotions, I later got to where it was every other,  maybe a week, maybe a month and drifted from what I knew I needed to be doing, I then hit a hard time and knew I had to get back on track. I know life is busy, and we all have things we have to do, but we must cling to Go...

You’re Not Alone

“Peter said to him, “Even if everyone else deserts you, I never will.” Jesus replied, “I tell you the truth, Peter—this very night, before the rooster crows twice, you will deny three times that you even know me.”” ‭‭Mark‬ ‭14:29-30‬ ‭NLT‬‬ When people say the will never leave our side and will always be there sometimes they mean it but things come up and they can’t or they end up leaving. It hurts us, I’ve been there and been though it. It can break your heart into pieces, but God isn’t like that. God doesn’t promise to be there and get tired and leave, or get too busy for us. He is there no matter what. Peter told Jesus he would be there when he was raised from the dead, but Jesus knew he wouldn't be. Jesus knew Peter was going to betray him. God knows it all. God sees the people that take advantage of you, He sees the ones who betrayed you, He sees ones to left when times got hard for you. He will take care of those who do you wrong if you only be still. You shouldn’t take reven...
