We can learn to be less selfish, and focus more on how we can help others, and help the world. When we put others before ourselves we are showing our love for Christ. We have to be true servants of Christ, learning to not boast of ourselves our our won works but the works Christ has done in and through us. We are meant to be vessels of Christ. Today focus more on being a vessel, humbling yourselves before God. Thinking of others as better than you and not having an attitude where you think you're better than everyone around you. "The smallest family will become a thousand people, and the tiniest group will become a mighty nation. At the right time, I the Lord, will make it happen." Isaiah 60:22 Let's focus on the ending of this verse, when the time is right the Lord will make it happen. We all are praying for something, maybe a breakthrough, finance problem, healing, or a situation that is out of your hands. I'm here today to tell you God has it under control. You are about to see things change for the good. The thing is sometimes we, even myself, pray for things and expect to wake up the next morning and it be fixed. I'm not saying God can't do the, he most defiantly can, but sometimes God expects us to trust Him. He knows what's best, and when it's supposed to happen. Just know that whatever you're praying for will work out on God's time. Be at peace knowing God already has it all figured out, he has prepared the way, He's just preparing you. Praise God for the privilege of being called by his name!" 1 Peter 4:16  Something no one wants to hear is how we will suffer as Christians, there will be times in our walk with Christ where others can tell that we are so called different, they will look at us and some might even make fun of us. That's okay though, even though they make fun of us, laugh about it, and talk behind our backs but it doesn't matter. What matters is our walk with Christ. Those people will understand one day why you are the way you are. Don't let them change you. You're about to see God bless you in front of those who embarrassed, betrayed, and made fun of you.  "If I had the gift of prophecy, and if I understood all of God's secret plans and possessed all knowledge, and if I had such faith that I could move mountains, but I didn't love others, I would be nothing." 1 Corinthians 13:2 We have love others no matter what, we can be the best people in the world, be so close to God, have so much faith, but if we don't have love for others we are nothing. Today learn to actually love others, not just show them, but actually love them from within your heart. You have to love people in order to be the best Christian possible. It's like this, if you met someone a stranger, who showed you kindness, but it wasn't because they love people, it was for selfish reasons, that wouldn't prove anything to you. I've been praying over a situation, and He keeps showing me that it's changing, and when it does, it will change very quickly. I have felt discouraged because I seen no change. He showed me in a way I could truly understand what He meant. He said, "When it's cloudy at night, and you can't see the moon it doesn't mean it's not there anymore, it's the same as when you can't see God doing anything, it doesn't mean He isn't working."  "But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patiences, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self control. There is no law against these things!" Galatians 5:22 When we learn the fruits of the Spirit, we realize that God put these things in our lives when we turn to Him. We realize that the love we have is from God, He brings us joy, He gives us His peace, He teaches us patiences, He teaches us to be more kind, He shows us His goodness, He shows us how faithful He is as we should be, He teaches us His gentleness and how to use to with others, and He teaches us self control in all situations. "But the person who loves God is the one whom God recognizes." 1 Corinthians 8:3 When we learn to change our lives to be more like Christ we learn to be recognized by God in the small things. When the flowers began to grow, when the sky is so blue it could match the ocean, when the rain falls fast down the windows of the car, when the leaves began to fall, when the wind begins to blow, when you look over a ocean from the sand on in toes, when you wake up to snow, when you feel like you're at peace all at once, God is in all these beautiful thing. He made each of these and it's so beautiful when you start to realize that He's in everything. Job 42:10  Job has a amazing story, the devil tried him in anyway that he possibly could, but Job still chose to believe in God. When it was over all the temptations and all the hardships God gave Job back more than he had before. If you're going though loss, hardships, depression, anxiety, health issues or even financial issues, get ready for the greatest comeback of your life.  "He calmed the storm to a whisper and stilled the waves." Psalms 107:29 Today was a very stormy day for my area, being from the south we have tornados, which I terrified of. I was praying for God's peace because they showed it was hitting our town in the next hour, I began to pray, I was so scared. I heard God say to me, "I saved you from a F-5 tornado, I can do it again." I began to feel at peace. I remember the day the F-5 hit a town under us, I was sitting on the floor in the living room, at the time I wasn't scared of storms. My mom came home from work and said , "There is a tornado headed here, we have to go to the storm house." My dad and I not being worried said "it's fine, were fine here." As it got closer it missed us and hit a town about six miles south of us about, headed to the east of us. Revelation 3:19  Everyone of us have the same advantage of having a relationship with God. He stands at the door for all of us knocking wanting us to let Him in. James 2:17 When the Bible tells us about faith God doesn't expect us to pray, and tell him how much faith we have then do nothing about it. When we have faith in God we have to let that produce good deeds. We have to let God shine though us so others see our faith. We can't go out and help the homeless, feed the poor, and clothe the homeless and except to get something out of it, or expect people to praise us. That isn't what it's about, it's about going out doing things we feel God told us to do that would let his light shine though us. No credit for ourselves in the outcome, just God to be praised.  "Don't be concerned about the outward beauty of fancy hairstyles, expensive jewelry, or beautiful clothes." 1 Peter 3:3 Today we all have social media of some sort I assume, but we have to stop letting social media show us what we think we are supposed to look like. When we compare ourselves to others, it changes the outlook we have on ourselves, it brings us down. God didn't create each of us to look alike for a reason, He knew how we would look before we were born. The bible tells us He created us in His imagine alike, next time you think to compare yourself to someone think before you do. You have no idea what they deal with, how their heart truly is, or what they are like when they're alone. Just because you think someone looks better than you doesn't mean their attitude is. We have to focus on the beauty inside of us, we have to stop letting society tell us who and what we are supposed to be. We are free in Christ to be all He has called us to be. We are...

"And those who are peacemakers will plant seeds of peace and reap a harvest of righteousness." James 3:18 It's difficult sometimes to be a peacemaker, especially when someone really sets you off. For example when you walk in a gas station to pay for your gas and the person working the register has a attitude before you say something, it really makes you mad, but when we have Jesus in our hearts and lives we learn to smile and tell them to have a nice day. You have to think of it like it was Jesus who walked in that store, what would he do? The Bible tells us so much about Jesus when he walked this earth, how kind he was to sinners, to the poor, and to people who even done him wrong and betrayed him. When someone betrays us we tend to want to repay them with how they made us feel, but Jesus tells us over and over to never repay evil for evil. What's important is that God makes the seed grow." 1 Corinthians 3:7 When we plant the seeds in our life of blessings, God is the one to make them grow. You have to take that first step though, we have to step out on faith when God opens doors that we are not so sure about. When He opens doors we never expected it's hard to take that step into it that we know we need to do, but we don't know if we're ready. God will never send you into a situation or a place alone, He is before you, behind you, and beside you at all times. He will always be with you, in all places of life. God keeps showing me that someone is about to have doors open, that no man can shut. When God opens this next door, don't be scared to walk into it. Ephesians 2:10 When the door to your future opens and it's something incredible don't be scared to step into it, I feel that someone is fixing to have one of the biggest opportunities you've ever had. You have to be ready, because when God opens this next door in your life, no man will be able to shut it. You have to be ready to take hold of this and run with it. If you've been praying for a new job, new house, a child, or even your marriage it's fixing to change for the good. You're fixing to see God start blessing you in places that are dry and empty. This is the essence of all that is taught in the law and the prophets."Matthew 7:12 Prayer is one of the most common things in our Christian Religion, we all do it when things strike us down, hurt us, or when we are thanking God. I seen a new view on this verse today though, the Bible tells us in this verse to treat others as we want to be treated. When someone ask us to pray with them or for them, we need to pray, not for something in return, just out of our own kindness. Us doing this is us proving this verse, showing that we can do so. We have to be true servants of God helping all the needs of our brothers and sisters. We see people getting new cars, new houses, having kids, getting married, finding a partner, or even getting the job you had been praying for, but we have to learn that that's not all life is about. We have to find joy in the small things, be thankful for the things we do have, God gives us what we need in just the right timing. We aren't starving, homeless, or doing without things we need. A hard thing to deal with is realizing you can live without those things you want, not things you need. You have to be content with where and what God has given you. You cant focus on things that you don't have, or things you want. Things are difficult at times, but God will always give us more than enough. You have to trust that God knows best. "Let them turn the other cheek to those who strike them and accept the insults of their enemies." Lamentations 3:30 When someone hurts or insults you, you tend to want to snap back with a insulting remark, we all want to. The best thing for us to do is turn the other cheek and walk away. We have to be patient and kind, no matter how others treat us. I've been through it before where someone snaps at me and I want to be rude in return, but I remember that I have no idea if they've had a bad day, or they're going through silent battles, so I remain quite and patient. I walk away and go on about my own business. It's hard when we get hurt by others for their actions to remain kind, quite, and the best Christians we can be. Proverbs 18:10  As a child we all had a comfort item, whether it was a stuffed animal, a tv show, a pacifier, sucking our thumb, or even just a toy we loved. It's okay to have things that comfort us, I still do, but we have to remember that our ultimate comfort is Jesus Christ. No matter where we are He is standing with us. He is clinging to us and His presence surrounds us. We have to remember his peace follows us no matter where we are. We all deal with stress and anxieties of our own, the real peace in the mist of our storms are Jesus Christ. "Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud." 1 Corinthians 13:4  Relationships are difficult, it's hard to be patient when they make you really angry. Trust me, my husband and I have had plenty of arguments that I've wanted to just go off of my feelings and be rude, but I remind myself to be patient think through what I'm feeling and then speak about how I'm feeling. As a child I heard a saying a lot of, "Sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me", looking back as I got older that saying was far from true. I am a very sensitive person, I will admit, but anyone can be hurt by words. If a random stranger were to walk up to you and start to insult you, that would ruin your day. Colossians 4:17 I'm twenty-one years old, and this year I just found my purpose and how I could start my ministry, I always knew I had a calling but didn't know where to begin. I knew God placed on my heart to start writing, I assumed it was a book but never knew where to begin. They will follow their own desires and will look for teachers who will tell them whatever their ears want to hear." 2 Timothy 4:3  This verse hit really hard when God gave it to me today, people now and days change churches every time the pastor doesn't preach what they want to hear. They change churches due to not wanting to hear about how hot hell is and how much sin they have in their lives. I myself love when my pastor preaches on how hot hell is because it reminds me of where I don't want to go. Our ultimate goal in life should be to go to heaven and run far as we can from anything that could lead us to hell. I'm not perfect, nor do I know anyone who is. We all sin daily, but we have to try our best to be the best people we can be. When life throws everything possible at you that's when God is working behind the scene for us. You have to trust that no matter how bad you feel, what is going wrong, or no matter what life throws at you, God will protect and guard you. Remember that God is the one who created the world, but He is also the one who made you and I too. When every way that you turn you seem to have a roadblock, know God is working so hard, he is putting everything together for your good. James 1:3 When you're playing a game and you feel like it is impossible to beat the level, you keep trying until you pass it. It's the same way in life when you fail, you get up and try again. No matter how bad things are, how many times we think we can't get through it, we keep on going and we make it past the obstacles and we are so thankful in the end we didn't give up. I went through a rough patch recently, which we all do, and there were times I wanted to give up on me dreams, but God kept showing me a quote, "In the end you'll be so happy you didn't give up." "Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you your heart's desires." Psalms 37:4 You'll never be satisfied with the world, it's like eating junk food and trying to get it to fill your stomach up, when what your body is really craving is a good meal. I'm not against junk food, I eat it way more than I should, but there are times when your body needs a meal not a snack. The Bible tells us we can't live on bread alone, we have to have God's spirit too. When we are desiring things the world tells us it can give us what we want. That money can make us happy and satisfied, that a few sins won't hurt we will finally fill that void we feel in our hearts, that what we are really desiring is "found in the world." James 4:8  This is something that we have all heard, but I personally never get tired of hearing, that is that we are never too far from God to turn around and him to be with us. I even myself have been in places in my life where I wasn't as close to God as I needed to be, but every time I found myself in that place God was not far away, He was right there waiting for me to come back to Him. There's a story in the Bible I'm sure most of you have read,  the man had two sons, he divided his wealth between the sons. The younger one went to a distant land and wasted all his money, he began to starve so he got a job with a local farmer and he worked in the fields with the pigs. He was so hungry that he even ate what the pigs were eating, when he finally came to his senses he went home to his father. He headed home...

I love where it says but now I can see. That's how it is in life, when we become a christian we see the world from a whole new view. We see God's blessings start to flow when we get in line with God's plans for us. We have to focus on God's plan for us instead of our own plans. When we get closer to God the closer we get to seeing the world the way he sees it. Before Christ we see the world in a view where sin is okay, a little white like here and there won't hurt right? I'm sure there has been a time where either you or your family has been late on rent, needed a little extra money for groceries, maybe you didn't have enough for the water bill and right there last minute God came though. He gave you more than you even asked for because He knew what you needed before you even asked, He knows what we need and when we need it most. There are times in our lives where we will struggle, and it might be really hard, but stand strong, God will never leave your side.
