A New Year With No Limits!

“Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.” Ephesians‬ ‭3:20‬ ‭ This New Year has approached us quickly. We all make New Year resolutions that we all hope to succeed in and stick to. This year my resolution is to not limit God. We all think that the things we are praying for is out of His reach or too large at times. I have learned over this year that there is absolutely nothing too big for my God! He will do so much more than we can ever imagine for ourselves. This was a year of miracles for me, I realized even though I could not see a way for God to answer my prayers, He created a way! That is so much more than I could have ever asked for. I might not see the way but God does. Think of the story of Moses when God parted the Red Sea. Moses and the Israelites walked up to the Red Sea while being chased by the Egyptians. God knew that the Red Sea would be parted but they had to trust God to ha...

Joy From The Lord!

“but the angel reassured them. “Don’t be afraid!” he said. “I bring you good news that will bring great joy to all people.” Luke‬ ‭2:10‬ ‭ Joy from the Lord is the only joy that we can truly depend on. We tend to put our happiness in others, objects, jobs, places, and things that will eventually fail us to bring us happiness. There is nothing in this world that can truly satisfy us. We have to stop depending on things that we know will eventually fail to bring us happiness. We can go to God for joy, knowing that happiness will always last. When we look at our lives and all the moments we were truly happy we have to remember that happiness was from God, although moments make us happy God brings us that happiness. Today, if you're searching for joy search no more! God has that joy you're searching for, open up to Him asking Him to give you joy! Here are some verses to reflect on today! “You haven’t done this before. Ask, using my name, and you will receive, and you will have abun...

It Does Matter!

“In the same way, the Lord ordered that those who preach the Good News should be supported by those who benefit from it.” 1 Corinthians‬ ‭9:14‬ ‭ I overheard a conversation the other day where a lady was talking about how people tend to use the excuse that Jesus never went to church so they don't have to go. She went on to say, but Jesus did go to church, He went to the temple. I have thought about that all week. All my life I have heard others tell me that church is not a necessity or it would be in the Bible, but it was in the Bible. Although the veil tore when Jesus was on the cross, church is still something we need. Today, make an effort for God and go to church the next time the doors are open. We might not have to go to church to get into heaven, but I think it's something that we need in order to grow in our relationship with God properly. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “And the curtain in the sanctuary of the Temple was torn in two, from top to bottom.” Mar...

Fear Is A Liar!

“But when I am afraid, I will put my trust in you.” Psalms‬ ‭56:3‬ ‭ You cannot let the fear of what might happen hold you back. As I have written about many times I deal with a lot of fear, one being storms. I'm from the south and we tend to have tornados. It's something that comes often when we get storms but never isn't scary. Today we had storms coming in that we were being warned for tornados.  The fear wasn't something I had planned for that day, but I let it get to me. By the time the storms arrived I had worried myself sick, literally. I was going to write my blog earlier in the day but felt to wait, now I know why. All that stress I faced was for nothing. I remember someone once said if you give the devil an inch he will take your life. I gave him the inch and he worried me all day. It was all for nothing. God knew the storms wouldn't get that bad, it wouldn't be something that I needed to worry over. God had it in control way before I knew the storms w...

But First You Pray!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” ‭‭Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ As this year is coming to an end over the next few days, we need to set goals for what we want to see in our 2025 year. I like to make a list of things I will pray over, and see if God will open those doors for me. Not every door we knock on is meant for us, but we should have faith that God will guide us in the right ways. We need to start this New Year off with prayer. Imagine the impact prayer could have on your year if you went into the New Year praising God for what He has done this year. This New Year is going to be great, I truly believe it. God is going to open doors and bless us each in different ways. Today, let's start this last week in prayer knowing God has a great plan for us. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “But when you pray, go away by yourself, shut the door behind you, and pray to your Father in private. Then yo...

You Are Seen!

““I knew you before I formed you in your mother’s womb. Before you were born I set you apart and appointed you as my prophet to the nations.”” Jeremiah‬ ‭1:5‬ ‭ Nothing in life goes unnoticed by God. At some point in life we each feel like we aren't noticed by others, maybe it's we don't fit in at school, work or a church group. We think that others look over us and cannot see us. There is one person that will always see us though, God. The Bible says that He knew us before He formed us in our mother's womb, He sees every aspect of us and yet He loves us anyways. Feeling rejected by others tends to hurt, as it would to anyone. Feeling left out also hurts as it makes us look at ourselves less than others. The truth is others will hurt us at times, we will be left out, and sometimes we will even feel less than others, but there is another side to each of these. We sometimes hurt others, sometimes we don't fit in like we want because we aren't meant to be apart of ...

Merry Christmas To All!

“But anyone who denies me here on earth will be denied before God’s angels.” Luke‬ ‭12:9‬  ‭Growing up my mom always taught me to say Merry Christmas and not Happy Holidays. I never understood the depth until I was older. It's the small things they try and remove God from. They start by changing it to Xmas, to x out the meaning of this wonderful season, next thing we knew we couldn't read or teach about the Bibles in our schools. We have to remember to include God into anything we do in life, because the world sure won't. When you see people out use that as an opportunity to show the love, kindness and words of Jesus. Encourage others and include God in it. What life is about is God. We are here, we are chosen and we are forgiven all thanks to Jesus our Savior! We have to do what the world won't do. Today, don't let the world make you forget what this day really is about. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “If anyone is ashamed of me and my message, the Son o...

Jesus Is The Reason.

“She gave birth to her firstborn son. She wrapped him snugly in strips of cloth and laid him in a manger, because there was no lodging available for them.” Luke‬ ‭2:7‬ ‭ It's Christmas Eve. In the morning, we will all open our presents and spend time with our families. As kids, we could barley sleep out of excitement for what the next day would hold and which gifts we would receive that year. As we grow older, we are more excited to give than to receive. We need to remember that it is so nice to receive gifts, and even better to give the perfect gift but what matters is that we recognize today is the day we celebrate the birth of Jesus. He was born in a manger to save all of creation. Today, celebrate Jesus and His birth. Enjoy time with your family remembering the real reason for what you gather together for. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “but the angel reassured them. “Don’t be afraid!” he said. “I bring you good news that will bring great joy to all people.” Luke‬ ‭2...

It Is Possible With God!

“He replied, “What is impossible for people is possible with God.”” Luke‬ ‭18:27‬ ‭ No matter how unrealistic the dream seems know that with God it is possible. God has a way of making things happen even when our human minds think that He can't. I think of the story of Jesus' birth. Mary was engaged to marry Joesph, they were in a relationship and committed to each other. Mary was a virgin yet an angel came to her and told her that she was going to give birth to a Son and His name would be Jesus. He then was born a virgin. See God could have chosen anyone to be Jesus' mother, He chose a way that would be impossible humanly speaking. He knew His power is best shown in situations that we cannot manipulate into being possible. When God gives us dreams they often seem so big that they are impossible, but then when He makes the way possible we have no choice but to give Him the glory. Today, know that dreams can and will come to pass, and in that moment of the impossible becomin...

Make Room.

“She gave birth to her firstborn son. She wrapped him snugly in strips of cloth and laid him in a manger, because there was no lodging available for them.” Luke‬ ‭2:7‬ ‭ In the story of Jesus' birth, we are told that there was no room for Mary, Joesph, and soon-to-be Jesus. No one had a spare room, somewhere to let Mary have Him. Someone in the town could have made room and chose not to. Are we doing the same thing today? Are we too busy filling our minds with games, movies, work, school, and activities that we are leaving no room for Jesus? Today, make room for Jesus in every level of your life. A life filled with Jesus is the best life that we can have. Here are some verses to reflect on today. ““Well,” you may say, “those branches were broken off to make room for me.””‭‭Romans‬ ‭11:19‬ ‭ “Give, and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full—pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. The amount you give will determine ...

A Breakthrough Is Near!

“For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland.”‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭43:19‬ ‭ A breakthrough is around the corner. Nothing in life is too hard for God to solve. We tend to put a limit on God, at times I feel like God understands in a way that our human minds cannot comprehend all He can do, although we have faith He will we cannot get how. Which somethings in life we aren't meant to know the "how". Some things need to be left up to God with simple faith, knowing that He will always come through no matter how He does it. In life we can count on the fact that a breakthrough is always close by, God always has something good headed towards us. Today, know that God is not going to let you down. He will send you a breakthrough at just the right moment. Although you don't know how, trust God to do it. He has great things for you. Here are some verses to reflect o...

Be Kind!

“Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud” 1 Corinthians‬ ‭13:4‬ ‭ Life without love would be boring. Why is it so easy to throw hate around but hard to love others? We spend so much time being rude to people that we forget that they face battles the same way we do. A smile, hug, laugh or simple hello can go a long way. I was in a store a while back and walked up to someone, from the back they looked like one of my family members. I shouted, "Oh my, hey how are you?" When they turned around I realized it was someone I knew but not that family member. I was embarrassed but held it in, and smiled through it. Later on, a few days later that person saw my mom and told her that it made their day how kind I was to them. Although it was a mix-up on my end I realized I should be that kind to everyone that I see. The impact we could make on others would be amazing if we choose kindness. Today, greet others with a smile, hug them when they need it, laugh with ...

The Real Gifts We Need.

“Thank God for this gift too wonderful for words!” 2 Corinthians‬ ‭9:15‬ ‭ Jesus was, is, and forever will be the greatest gift this earth could ever wish for. But we each have things we do wish for in life. This Christmas season has been an odd one for me so far. After being sick for four days, I have officially tested positive for Covid. Although I did not get to celebrate in the way I thought I would, I have spent more time in prayer. This year I have learned it's not about the things we make it out to be, it's about celebrating Jesus, and worshipping Him. I have learned that we sometimes focus on the things that don't mean as much as we think, but instead the small stuff. Good health, happiness, contentment, peace, and hope are the things we really wish for in the Christmas season. That is what we are searching for, not something that can be wrapped and placed under a tree. Today, celebrate Jesus knowing the gifts we truly wish for can only be found through Him. Here ar...

Be Careful What You Listen To.

“Keep a close watch on how you live and on your teaching. Stay true to what is right for the sake of your own salvation and the salvation of those who hear you.” 1 Timothy‬ ‭4:16‬ ‭ As continuing on the subject of music like yesterday, if the music we hear did not matter then why did God kick the enemy out of Heaven? When the enemy started trying to make everyone look more at him than at worshiping God, that is when God drew the line.  What we listen to matters, very much. Considering what we hear often fills our minds with thoughts and the words we hear. When choosing music, make sure it will uplift, encourage, and push you in the right direction. Today, know that what you listen to does matter very much. God cares, and so should you. As a child we sang a song in Sunday school by Cedarmont Kids, it said, "Be careful little ears what you hear." We have to be careful what we listen to, because it does matter. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “Your might and power were...

Worship God!

“But the time is coming—indeed it’s here now—when true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth. The Father is looking for those who will worship him that way.” ‭‭John‬ ‭4:23‬ ‭ I have been listening to worship music all day for the last few days, I'm not one to listen to really worldly music but I do like country music. I have realized a change in my spirit. It's amazing the impact that Christian music has on us. It's uplifting and reminds us of the true God we worship. I have realized that sometimes we just need some time with God and in His presence. Worship music can make us feel so much closer to God when we choose to worship Him, in all seasons of life. Today, find some worship music that you like and show your gratitude to God, know that whatever season you are in God is up to something even better than you can imagine. Worship in the trial, waiting, joy, brokenness, or any other season you might be in. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “Don’...

Ask God For Guidance.

“So I say, let the Holy Spirit guide your lives. Then you won’t be doing what your sinful nature craves.” ‭‭Galatians‬ ‭5:16‬ ‭ I remember a time in my life when I didn't know which way to turn. We each come to a place where we need to make a choice. I have learned that sometimes we are at a crossroads and the only decision we can make is to trust God. He knows what is best for us, and which leads the best for us. Sometimes we need to wait on a decision even though we want to run with what we think is best. Today, if you find yourself at a crossroads know that God has the best answer for what you should do. He will always guide you correctly and His plans are always good. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “Commit your actions to the Lord, and your plans will succeed.” Proverbs‬ ‭16:3‬ ‭ “For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God.” Romans‬ ‭8:14‬ ‭ “for I am giving you good guidance. Don’t turn away from my instructions.” Proverbs‬ ‭4:2‬ ‭ “Let me hear of ...

Someday You Will Understand.

“Jesus replied, “You don’t understand now what I am doing, but someday you will.”” John‬ ‭13:7‬ ‭ As I was driving today I felt God speak to me, and say that sometimes when we question why something happened or why He allowed it to was all for a bigger plan that we cannot yet see. I read these verses last night and felt like God would show me what He meant by it, today He did. I was pushed out of my comfort zone today and was questioning why, but now I know that it was God's plan to show me that I can do all things through Him. Sometimes we need that little push even when we don't ask for it. Today, the things you don't understand now, know that someday you will. God has a plan and a purpose for your life. He is at work for you at this moment. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah‬ ‭29:11‬ ‭ “For we are God’s masterpiece. He has...

Run Him Off!

“So humble yourselves before God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” James‬ ‭4:7‬ ‭ If you don't fill your mind with thoughts of good things then the enemy will fill it with lies, fear, stress, sadness, and anger. He knows the buttons to press and where we are struggling. I have realized that some things that are bothering me are actually scare tactics of the enemy. He wants to prevent us from reaching our full potential in Christ. God's plans for us are so. beautiful that we cannot even begin to imagine it. God never uses scare tactics with us, instead, He shows us good things, love, joy, hope, strength, and things that will benefit us in the end. He knows what we are called to do and wants to help us get there. Today, tell the enemy to flee in the name of Jesus. He can only control the amount of your life that you allow Him to. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “The enemy runs at the sound of your voice. When you stand up, the nations flee!” Isaiah‬ ‭33:3‬ ...

Show Appreciation.

“There are “friends” who destroy each other, but a real friend sticks closer than a brother.” Proverbs‬ ‭18:24‬ ‭ It matters who you hang around. If God did not intend for us to have friends that uplift us then He wouldn't have healed people because of their friends' faith. God knew we shouldn't be alone, so He sent us friends who stuck closer than a brother. When life is good it's great to have someone to laugh with, and when life isn't it's great to have a shoulder to cry on. We are each blessed with those real friends that we know we can count on, but do we really show them appreciation? Today, thank God and your real friends for sticking by you always. Sometimes they just need to feel appreciated. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “A friend is always loyal, and a brother is born to help in time of need.” Proverbs‬ ‭17:17‬ ‭ “As iron sharpens iron, so a friend sharpens a friend.” ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭27:17‬ ‭ “Whoever loves a pure heart and gracious speech wi...

Love Others.

“Love means doing what God has commanded us, and he has commanded us to love one another, just as you heard from the beginning.” 2 John‬ ‭1:6‬ ‭ We have to pray each day that our lives will be the proof of Jesus' love. Over the last few years, I have learned that sometimes God puts people in my life who are difficult to show us how to love others without boundaries. Sometimes we have to love those who irritate us to show the love of Jesus to them. We are here to set an example, sometimes including those who have hurt us, those who annoy us, and even those who are mean to us. So many times in the Bible we see how Jesus loves those around Him even when they betray, hurt, or say mean things to Him. We have to do the same in our lives. We are meant to live a life like Jesus. Today, show love even when it's difficult. Here are some verses to reflect today. “We love each other because he loved us first.” 1 John‬ ‭4:19‬ ‭ “Don’t just pretend to love others. Really love them. Hate what...

Don't Carry The Baggage.

“For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard.” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭3:23‬ ‭ The Bible shows us the stories of forgiveness over and over again. We each fall short of God's gracious glory, and we must remember that although we are far from perfect we are forgiven. We each deal with guilt from something we have done, but we must ask God to forgive us and stop carrying that baggage. When you make a mistake instead of holding on to it, let that forgiveness God gave you overcome the sins. God knew we couldn't be perfect, so He sent Jesus to pay the payment that we couldn't spend. We are forgiven, we are free. Today, ask God for forgiveness instead of clinging to the baggage. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “Instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you.” Ephesians‬ ‭4:32‬ ‭“Then Jesus said to the woman, “Your sins are forgiven.””‭‭Luke‬ ‭7:48‬ ‭“And Jesus said to the woman, “Your faith h...

'Tis The Season Of Jesus!

““Where is the newborn king of the Jews? We saw his star as it rose, and we have come to worship him.””Matthew‬ ‭2:2‬  ‭Jesus is the reason for the season. We are in the last two weeks until Christmas, the next few weeks are rushed. We are going to be finding the perfect gifts, wrapping presents, and spending time with those we love most. In the midst of it all we have to remember the real reason for why we are celebrating in the first place. This season is about something other than what we can give but what we have already received. We received a Savior, who is Christ our King. No gift in this world that could ever be given to us could amount to that. Today, remember the real reason for this season. Celebrate Jesus more than anything that the world could give. Don't get lost in the traditions of the world. Although we can enjoy them, we should remember the true meaning of Christmas. Here are some verses to reflect on today! “Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea, during the reign ...

The Savior Of The World.

“How my spirit rejoices in God my Savior!” Luke‬ ‭1:47‬ ‭ For us, a Child was born—the Savior of the world. In every fairytale, we have someone who is a savior. We are so blessed to be saved through faith. God sent Jesus to save the world. We sing Christmas songs, and I am one of those people who can listen to them year-round. I find so much joy in Christmas, celebrating the birth of Jesus! We each need to be saved a lot of times in our lives, and we know the one person we can count on is Jesus. He will always be our Savior. Today, be thankful this Christmas season, and find that Christmas cheer knowing you are celebrating Jesus' birth the one who came to save us all. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “He sang: “The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my savior;” 2 Samuel‬ ‭22:2‬ ‭ “Furthermore, we have seen with our own eyes and now testify that the Father sent his Son to be the Savior of the world.” 1 John‬ ‭4:14‬ ‭ “Why am I discouraged? Why is my heart so sad? I will put ...

Your Gift!

“A spiritual gift is given to each of us so we can help each other.” 1 Corinthians‬ ‭12:7‬ ‭ Start today chasing the dreams that God has placed in your heart. God oftentimes places dreams in our hearts as our purpose. He knows what we are meant and built to do. I was reading this verse last night and honestly had never paid attention to it. We each are called for a purpose and have a gift to help others. Just because we have different gifts doesn't mean that each person is any less important than the next. That calling is important. It will save souls and lead others to Jesus. Today, trust God to show you which dreams are from Him. He has a purpose for you and it's so important. The gifts you bare are so important as they will be used most days in your life. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “However, he has given each one of us a special gift through the generosity of Christ.”Ephesians‬ ‭4:7‬ “It is the one and only Spirit who distributes all these gifts. He alone deci...

A Gift From God.

““I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid.” ‭‭John‬ ‭14:27‬ ‭ God is giving you peace. A gift is something we each have given or received. A gift cannot be begged or bought because it is something given with love. When God chose to provide us with the gift of peace, He never asked for a payment. The same is true of His forgiveness, which He paid the price for. We must start to understand that nothing we say or do can ever earn God's peace or forgiveness. We should stop trying to earn it and start receiving it. Today, God is giving you the gift of peace and forgiveness take it. God never gives us something with strings attached. He is freely giving you these gifts if you will receive them. All we have to do is ask God to reveal and give us the gift. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “Thank God for this gift too wonderful for words!” 2 Corinthians‬ ‭9:15‬ ‭ “A spiritual gift is ...

Make Room For Jesus!

“She gave birth to her firstborn son. She wrapped him snugly in strips of cloth and laid him in a manger, because there was no lodging available for them.” ‭‭Luke‬ ‭2:7‬ ‭ One of the main things we remember from the story of Jesus' birth is that there was no room for Him. We live each day acting the same way those did. We say we don't have time to read a devotional every day, say a prayer, or go to church on Sunday but in reality, we make time for what we want. Why is it that we continue to act as though there is no room for Him? Jesus was born in what now is a barn, where we'd feed our farm animals. The one who came to save us couldn't even find a nice warm home to be born in. There's a verse that we all think of a lot that says If the world hates you remember it hated me first. We have to remember how the world treated Jesus. Why put this world over Jesus? Nothing is worth losing our souls. Today, make room for Jesus. There is room in the inn for Him. Don't be...

All Is Calm, All Is Bright.

“The one who is the true light, who gives light to everyone, was coming into the world.” ‭‭John‬ ‭1:9‬ ‭ All is calm, that's something we each search for. We all need a calm in life. We can find that in Jesus, He is our calm. In the Bible there was a storm coming, Jesus was with the disciples and was asleep. The disciples woke Him and calmed the storm with His voice. God can calm us with His voice. The brightness of this season is the joy and hope we all feel as if we are back to that child waiting on Christmas. That brightness we feel is the hope of Jesus. We can feel that all year around if we truly get in His presence. I have found that time alone with God is one of the most beautiful things we can have in life. Moments with God is where we find peace, hope, and joy. Today, find time to spend with God. Although this Christmas season we will feel calm and bright, we can experience that every day in a relationship with Jesus. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “For once you...

God Will Do The Best!

“Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.” Ephesians‬ ‭3:20‬ ‭ Pretty soon you'll think of God for giving you more than you prayed for. We tend to put a cap on what we think God can do, in reality, God can do so much more than we can ever ask or think. He doesn't think the way that we do. God knows what we need and will provide. Have you ever had an answered prayer right on time? God didn't wait until you asked for it for Him to begin to work on it, He was already at work before you even asked. God knows your needs. That is how He always provides more than what we could ever ask for. Today, trust that God will do the very best for you. Have faith and know that your prayers are being heard. Here are some verses to reflect on today. ““My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” says the Lord. “And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine.” Isaiah‬ ‭55:8‬ ‭ “There is hope ...

Make A List!

“For God had promised, “I will return about this time next year, and Sarah will have a son.”” Romans‬ ‭9:9‬ ‭ I came up with this new idea: write myself a letter to read in 6 months and do it again in 6 more months. I could see the things I had overcome and my progress. We each should do something similar. Imagine the encouragement we would make. I never make New Year's resolutions because it's so sad that I don't see them through, but how wonderful is it that God never fails to see everything He says to be true. The same change we could make in 6 months would be amazing to watch how God works in our lives. Today, make a list of things you want to overcome, and prayers you are praying, and look back on them in the amount of time you choose. God can do miracles in a short time. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “Is anything too hard for the Lord? I will return about this time next year, and Sarah will have a son.”‭‭Genesis‬ ‭18:14‬ ‭ “Whatever is good and perfect is ...

Sing His Praises!

“For this, O Lord, I will praise you among the nations; I will sing praises to your name.” Psalms‬ ‭18:49‬ ‭ One of my favorite things in life is the sunset. After we go through things we learn to appreciate the small things like seeing a sunset. I saw the most beautiful sunset the other day, it reminded me of some song lyrics. "If creation sings Your praises, so will I." Why can we not sing like creation does for Him then what are we? We say we want an eternity with God but how can we expect to praise Him forever if we can't now? Today, find the small things to praise God about. Even if it's just that you see the sunset, hear the birds singing, or just a random thing happens, thank God. The Bible says that if we don't praise Him, the rocks will cry out. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “Shout joyful praises to God, all the earth!” Psalms‬ ‭66:1‬ ‭ “Mary responded, “Oh, how my soul praises the Lord.” Luke‬ ‭1:46‬ ‭ “Let the whole world bless our God and l...

Start The Change Today!

“Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning.” Lamentations‬ ‭3:23‬ ‭ As the month changes to December, it reminds me that we often get a new beginning, daily. We tend to put off changing even when we know we need to. We tell ourselves that we can change later. The Bible says that God's mercy renews each morning, so why don't we start each morning off by changing for the better? There is something every single one of us can work on. No matter how good of people we are we all have our issues and things we could do better at. I find myself being snappy towards those I love sometimes, and I have started working on that. Today, start using that mercy that has been renewed. You can change your life today. Ask God to help you change the things that you need to. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “The faithful love of the Lord never ends! His mercies never cease.” Lamentations‬ ‭3:22‬ ‭ “But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive ...

Be A Light!

“For once you were full of darkness, but now you have light from the Lord. So live as people of light!” Ephesians‬ ‭5:8‬ ‭ I live in the country, where the stars shine extra brightly at night. I was outside and looked up at them and realized that the same way the stars shine in the dark sky is how we shine as Christians in this dark world.
