You Are Enough!

“Don’t wear yourself out trying to get rich. Be wise enough to know when to quit.” Proverbs‬ ‭23:4‬ ‭ God thinks you are good enough, now it's your turn to believe it! We often get stuck in a mindset that we need to be better for a relationship, friendship, the job we want, the car we dream of owning, or the house we want to live in. We underestimate ourselves so much. I was listening to worship music today, and it was talking about how Jesus came here just to save us, His ultimate plan was to save each of us. I realized how I could even for a moment, think I am not enough when the same one who created me also thought I was enough to come down and sacrifice Himself so that I can be forgiven and freed? He loves us that much. We cannot let the enemies' lies tell us we are not enough when the One who created us thinks we are more than enough. Today, remind yourself that you're more than enough. God loves you and He thinks you are more precious than rubies. Here are some verses...

Eyes On The Future.

“For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah‬ ‭29:11‬ ‭ Let this chapter of your life be the best. You cannot spend the best years of your life looking in the rearview mirror. Let this chapter be the one you praise God for! God has amazing blessings awaiting you. You don't have to spend all your time focused on your mistakes, those are forgiven. The moment you asked God for forgiveness He washed them away. God doesn't hold a grudge like humans tend to do. Instead, He forgets them. You are walking into a new chapter, there is no need to be focused on the things of the past when the future is so much better. Although none of us know what the future will hold we know who holds our future. God's plans for us are better than our own, we know that the future will be great because God is great. Today, make sure that your eyes are on what is to come, not what is in the past. You'r...

You Are Loved.

“No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans‬ ‭8:39‬ ‭ We all seek love, whether it be in a friend, family, or relationship. We all want to feel like someone cares and loves us. Although it is good to have someone who cares about our lives we have to remind ourselves the one who cares the most is God. We are constantly surrounded by a love that will never be understood. God loved us enough to send His only Son to save us. His love is so unconditional that we cannot even comprehend it. When you feel like you arent cared for, or loved, remind yourself that God loves you so much. There has never been a moment in your life that God hasn't loved you! You might feel as though you have failed Him, but He will always love you. Today, come humbly before God knowing that His love is something we can never be separated from. He loves you, He sees you and...

Child Of God!

“For every child of God defeats this evil world, and we achieve this victory through our faith.” ‭‭1 John‬ ‭5:4‬ ‭ God protects His children, no matter what. Look at the stories in the Bible, Moses was running and God parted the Red Sea, God used Esther to save the Jews, the only people left pure in the world was Noah, and He saved Him and His family. There are so many stories to back this up. God always looks out for His children. We often find ourselves panicking when difficulties come, but we have to remind ourselves that the enemy never wins, God does. Even when the enemy tried to take Jesus, He rose again on the third day and defeated death. Today, remind yourself that none of the enemies' tactics will ever win, you have God on your side and that is what matters. You win every time, when you are a child of God! Keep your mind on the fact that God's protection is never confined to one place, He is with you wherever you go! Here are some verses to reflect on today. “Everyone...

Change Is Now!

“Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.” Romans‬ ‭12:2‬ ‭ There is never a perfect time. We cannot waste our lives saying we will change, grow closer to God, and stop sinning when the time is right. There is never a right time, it's all about faith. You've got to have enough faith to walk away from your sinful desires and live a pure life. You've got to do it now! Stop wasting time on worldly things, they amount to nothing. When the time comes that you've truly established a relationship with God you'll realize that nothing in this world amounts to anything unless you have God at the center of it. Change at this moment, and give your heart to God fully. You don't need to wait for a better time, you need to stop wasting time. God's plans for you are far beyond anything you could imagine....

A Real Relationship!

“So now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other.” John‬ ‭13:34‬ ‭ A relationship sent from God will bring you closer to God rather than away from Him. Knowing it will lead you into sin should tell you that it’s a relationship you shouldn’t get into! you cannot get into a relationship knowing it’s going to pull you away from God. A relationship and marriage will be used to better the kingdom of God. In today's day and age people get into relationships for the likes, follows, and the way people will notice it. That is far from what a relationship is about. You have to be picky with who you choose to date because your relationship is meant to be an example to others of a Godly relationship. Today, if you're in a relationship make sure it is a reflection of Christ, and if you're searching for a relationship be picky with who you choose. Be intentional with who you get into a relationship with knowing that it is mo...

Mind Your Business.

“Make it your goal to live a quiet life, minding your own business and working with your hands, just as we instructed you before.” 1 Thessalonians‬ ‭4:11‬ ‭ We have all heard the phrase "Mind your own business." The Bible teaches us that actually is what we are meant to do. Something I've noticed over time is when people are more focused on other's lives their lives end up in a huge mess, like a ball of yard all twisted up and confused. The reasoning for that is because how can you focus on what you're meant to do, say, and how you're supposed to act when you don't have time to worry about someone else's life. Today, remind yourself that your relationship with God needs to be what you're focusing on, not on someone else and what they're doing. We cannot spend our lives focused on someone else and expect to achieve all that we want to. Our time must be spent on our relationship with Christ and walking in the ways He tells us to. Here are some ve...

Silence Isn't Absence.

“As they sailed across, Jesus settled down for a nap. But soon a fierce storm came down on the lake. The boat was filling with water, and they were in real danger.” Luke‬ ‭8:23‬ ‭ Maybe Jesus slept on the boat when the storm was coming to prove that His silence doesn't mean His absence. See when the storm came the disciples began to panic, Jesus was sleeping through it. They took that Jesus' resting meant He was absent from saving them. When we find ourselves in a season of silence we shouldn't panic, instead, we should remind ourselves that God is there just as much in the moments of silence as He is when He is speaking. God doesn't have to move by letting us know, we should trust Him enough to make moves for us. Today, if you feel like God isn't speaking, know that doesn't mean He is absent from you or your life, instead, His peace surrounds you. God is at work for you in ways you've yet to see, but some of the greatest blessings are to come. Get ready for...

Changed!

“Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.” Romans‬ ‭12:2‬ ‭ Stop trying to match the world's energy and start trying to match God! We aren't meant to be on the level of the world and to fit in. We are here to do the opposite, we need to stand out and be more like Christ. You cannot keep trying to fit in with the world, you aren't meant to. You're meant to set an example of what God loves sinners like and how He changes people into Christ-like people. Today, when you feel left out, you need to remind yourself that you're not meant to fit in. You're meant to stand out, showing the world what real Christians who follow Jesus every day are like. We are here to set an example to others of the wonderful work that Jesus does for us. You move differently when you truly find God. When you're chang...

The Right Relationship.

“We love each other because he loved us first.” 1 John‬ ‭4:19‬  ‭If you're searching for a relationship or wondering if the one you're in is the relationship that God has designed for you then here is how you figure it out. When it comes down to you being serious about your relationship with God do they feel the same about their relationship with God? Are they making an effort to grow closer to God? Are they pulling you further away or closer to God? When you answer these questions to yourself you will realize a lot about what the future would look like with them. Feelings can often cloud our judgment and make us live in a fantasy world. Today, you have to ask yourself will this relationship that I am in, or the one I've yet to find be focused on Christ or the world? The person God has designed for you will show you the love of Jesus, treasure you, and always bring you closer to God. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or...

Your Perspective.

“Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.” Romans‬ ‭12:2‬  ‭Sometimes we spend so much time praying for God to change our circumstances that we forget that the circumstance could have been sent to change our hearts. If you're in a circumstance that you cannot understand, then you should take time to pray and ask God if it is something you need to change about yourself. There have been times in my life where I've prayed and God didn't change things, instead, He changed my perspective on them. When I looked at my circumstances with my perspective being changed I realized that things weren't like I had imagined, in fact, the things I was praying for weren't what I wanted. It was more like a fantasy of how I thought I wanted things. Today, make sure that the circumstances you are in aren't meant ...

You're Not Alone.

“Let your unfailing love surround us, Lord, for our hope is in you alone.” Psalms‬ ‭33:22‬ ‭ Sometimes we find ourselves in a place of loneliness, which can be hard to go through. It's like all our friends seem to not exist in our lives, everyone seems too busy with their own lives, and everyone we know doesn't come around as much. In that moment of loneliness, you must remind yourself that it's often for a purpose. God doesn't send us somewhere to be lonely. He often times sends us into that season to hear Him more clearly. When you're in the lonlines you have more space and room to listen to God than when things are crowded and surrounded by noise. Today, if you're in a season of silence, or loneliness remind yourself you're not alone. You are surrounded by God and His love. He can use this season to speak to you in ways you've yet to experience. You arent alone, you're in a season of learning that will help you someday. Here are some verses to ref...

All In!

““No one can serve two masters. For you will hate one and love the other; you will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and be enslaved to money.”” Luke‬ ‭16:13‬ ‭ All eyes are on Jesus. You have to ask yourself are your eyes focused more on pleasing God or more on earthly things? This verse shows us that we cannot serve God and money at the same time. We have to choose one master over out souls. We cannot be a lukewarm Christian. We either have to be all in or not in at all. God doesn't tolerate us being half way with Him. He knew we would make mistakes, that is why He sent Jesus, but He also knew that we needed to give Him our whole heart. Today, ask yourself is your whole heart devoted to Christ or only the parts you want it to be? God doesn't expect perfection, but He does expect us to be fully in! You cannot have one foot in and one foot out and expect God to be always all in for you. It's the same way we are with people, we don't want peop...

Foundation With Jesus!

“It is like a person building a house who digs deep and lays the foundation on solid rock. When the floodwaters rise and break against that house, it stands firm because it is well built.” Luke‬ ‭6:48‬ ‭ The rain came, the wind blew, but my house was built on You. Have you heard of the story from the Bible where one man built his house on the sand, and the water came and washed it away, but the man who built his house on the rock was safe? That's how life is. When our foundation for everything is built on God, we will never have it washed away. You have to make sure that your job, home, cars, spouse, friends and all have to be set on the foundation of Christ. Nothing in life can be made to with stand hard times if it isn't built on the fact that it is God's plan for you, and your life. Today, make sure all aspects of your life are built on Christ. He has to be the center of it all for things to work the way they are meant to. Here are some verses to reflect on today. ““Anyo...

Blessing Are From God!

““If you are faithful in little things, you will be faithful in large ones. But if you are dishonest in little things, you won’t be honest with greater responsibilities.” Luke‬ ‭16:10‬  Don't idolize the gift, thank God who gave it to you. If it's a gift then you owe God a thank you. God does all these things for us, we shouldn't worship the things that we receive but instead be grateful to have been blessed with them. We aren't able to take anything to heaven with us, everything we own here will be worth nothing in heaven, but the relationship with God that we have will be worth everything. The relationship with God that we have is something we have to cling to. Something I've learned is if we aren't thankful in little then how can we be thankful in a lot? We have to be grateful for all things. God blesses us! Stop saying you're self-made and start saying you're God made. Today, remind yourself that you are where you are because God blessed you enough t...

Run From Sin.

“Do not let sin control the way you live; do not give in to sinful desires.” Romans‬ ‭6:12‬  ‭The thing about sin is that it will take you further when you want to go. We are all tempted, maybe not in the same ways but we each are. The thing about the enemy is that he will make it out like doing something you know is right is okay. The enemy is a lie. Giving into that sin isn't going to help free you from it, it's going to give the enemy room to grow roots to that sin inside you. Have you ever heard the expression If you give them an inch they will take a mile? That is how sin is. If you give in a little room inside of you, it will grow until you think nothing of it. You have to remind yourself that God gives us a way out of sin, but we have to be willing to take it. You cannot cling to sin while asking God to free you from it. The Bible says, resist the enemy and he will flee. You are able to overcome sin. Today, let go of sin and run from it. Don't let sin take you furthe...

The God Of Breakthroughs!

“For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime! Weeping may last through the night, but joy comes with the morning.” Psalms‬ ‭30:5‬ ‭ Joy comes in the morning. Don't let the silence of the night make you think joy is not still to come. Sometimes we must remind ourselves that even when nothing is happening, and all things are quiet God is still at work in our lives. You don't have to see the evidence of God working to know He is at work for you. There are times when faith is hard to have, but we have to remind ourselves that God has never failed us so why would He start now? He is a God of miracles and worthy of all the praise we give Him. Don't let the silence make you doubt that the breakthrough is near. There are times when we feel the breakthrough coming, but other times we don't. Today, be expecting your breakthrough. Get excited. Thank God for what is yet to come. He will go above and beyond for you as He always does. Here are some verses to ref...

Speak Life.

“He gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless.” Isaiah‬ ‭40:29‬ ‭ Although we often feel powerless in life, we have to remember that God has all the power, we feel like we have no strength, but we have to remember God is our strength, we feel like we are not loved but nothing can separate us from His love, we think we aren't attractive enough but we are made in God's imagine, and we feel like we are alone but He will never leave us. Every single one of these that starts out are lie from the enemy. The enemy thinks that if we begin to believe his lies then we will start to question God. We have to speak faith and hope into our lives. I have struggled with anxiety, the way I began to overcome it was when the enemy would speak to me I would respond with faith, and I began speaking life out loud to myself. "I will be at peace, I will get through this." It's amazing how God works in our lives. Today, speak life! Speak out loud that you will overcome in Jesu...

Faith Over Feelings.

“Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life.” Proverbs‬ ‭4:23‬ Trust in the Lord with all your heart. You cannot depend on your feelings, that is a part of your flesh. The enemy often uses your feelings to make you want to sin, even though you know it is wrong in your heart. You cannot let feelings and emotions run your life or you will end up in places you were never meant to be. God doesn't work through feelings, He works through your Spirit. We are human, and we all have feelings. It's okay to feel and have feelings, but when we try to trust how we feel over what God says we are headed down a terrible path. Today, don't lean on your own thoughts and understanding, because they will fail you. Put all of your hope in Christ and you will always end up in the best place. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and love...

His Peace Is Above And Beyond!

“Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.” Philippians‬ ‭4:7‬ ‭ God's peace is something you cannot ever explain to someone or even fully comprehend. You cannot explain how you have peace in situations that would normally stress you. I recently went through something that through my flesh I would assume would have sent me spiraling, but I stopped and prayed. I took a deep breath. I knew the circumstances weren't something I wanted, and weren't good but that God would give me peace and calm all my fears. He did just that! He came through and gave me a peace that I couldn't explain, but I knew where it came from. Today, when life isn't what you want it to be, it's circumstances that you cannot explain and you need peace and ask for it. Just like in the Bible when He calmed the storm He will do the same for you. He will give you peace in your life and calm...

Your Vision.

“But Noah found favor with the Lord.” Genesis‬ ‭6:8‬ ‭ Sometimes faith will make you look foolish until it happens. Think of the story of Noah, everyone thought he was losing it until it began to rain. He had a vision and trusted God, he knew what was coming but also knew he had enough faith. He knew the flood was going to happen because he had favor with the Lord. He also knew that his family would be safe. Sometimes people don't understand our vision for the kingdom of God, and that is okay because that vision is for you, not them. When God gives you a vision it is for you to fulfill. He didn't ask Noah to get the people who thought he was foolish to believe him or help him build the boat. Instead, He asked Noah and his sons to build it. Today, whatever vision God has given you, don't expect others to understand or try to help you. It was a vision made for you and for you to complete. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “Seven days from now I will make the rains po...

Be Consistent With God.

“Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise.”Hebrews‬ ‭10:23‬ ‭ The moral of the story is once you get what you are praying for remember to still pray. Often times when we are praying for something we are so faithful in prayer that we forget to be faithful when we get what we are asking for. God is our provider but He is also our Father. No one likes when someone only talks to you when it is convenient for them, you want someone consistent in your life at all times. That is what God expects in your relationship with Him. The point is you cannot forget God when things are good. God is going to bless you for your faithfulness. Today, make sure that you're being consistent in your relationship with God at all times. You are needed to be faithful in every moment, not just in the times of asking for something. Faithfulness is something we have to have in a relationship with God. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “But th...

Made To Worship.

“I will praise you as long as I live, lifting up my hands to you in prayer.” Psalms‬ ‭63:4‬ ‭ If the stars were made to worship so will I. It reminds me of how the Bible tells us that the rocks will cry out if we don't praise God. We sometimes get ahead of ourselves and let life get ahead of God and the most important things. We have to come to a place where we realize that nothing in this life is as important as our relationship with God. If we don't praise God on earth how do we expect Him to want us to go to heaven and praise Him all the time. The purpose of heaven is to praise Him all the time. Today, remind yourself that you are here to tell of Jesus and to praise His holy name. You are a vessel to show others the love of Jesus but you cannot do that if you don't have a true relationship with Him. You were made to worship God and you need to take the time to do so. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “For God is Spirit, so those who worship him must worship in sp...

You Are Not Forgotten!

“Don’t love money; be satisfied with what you have. For God has said, “I will never fail you. I will never abandon you.”” Hebrews‬ ‭13:5‬ ‭ What you are praying for is worth the wait! God doesn't ever put us into situations that we cannot grow, learn, and be blessed from. I know that there have been times when I have questioned if God had forgotten me, but every time I did He came through! God doesn't forget His children, and most of all He never lets us down. When the doubt creeps in and makes you think you are forgotten remind yourself of how God has come through every single time for you. He has and will never abandon you. God doesn't forget us the Bible says. Know that those moments when you pray and feel like your prayers arent being heard, that they are. God is taking care of all those things you're stressing about right now. He already has a way out He is just waiting for you to put it in His hands and for you to let go. Today, give it to God and watch how He wor...

Blessing In Disguise.

“And I will give you treasures hidden in the darkness— secret riches. I will do this so you may know that I am the Lord, the God of Israel, the one who calls you by name.”Isaiah‬ ‭45:3‬ ‭ Have you ever heard the expression "blessing in disguise." We sometimes teach ourselves to think that things happen by coincidence. It's like when you're late for work, school, or an event and you're so mad over it but you never know what God is using that time for or protecting you from. I like to think that nothing happens by coincidence. Sometimes we have to remind ourselves that all things happen for a reason. Sometimes it takes years to look back and realize the reason, but everything we go through is for something. I've learned that everyone I meet is for a purpose, sometimes they're there for a moment to teach me something, and other times they're there to be by my side for a very long time. We cannot predict a friendship or relationship, but we can trust God w...

How We Love.

“But anyone who does not love does not know God, for God is love.” 1 John‬ ‭4:8‬ ‭ Someone who does not know God cannot love you in the way you deserve. God is love, the Bible says, we love because He first loved us. You cannot expect to receive the loge you're searching for from someone who doesn't even begin to understand it. We all have thought that this world isn't what it used to be romantically and just in general, which it isn't. When love was actually real the world put God first, people chose to have a relationship with God and to go to church. They understood how to love others by understanding how God loved them. When searching for love, search in the right places, not places that cannot give you what you need and deserve. Today, if you want love search for it in someone who understands a true relationship with God, they understands the love the receive from Him and know how to love. The Bible also tells us that if we do not love we have nothing. Love beyond ...

God's Plan!

““My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” says the Lord. “And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine.” Isaiah‬ ‭55:8‬ ‭ When you start spending time with God in prayer, you and everything around you will begin to change. At first, it will be tempting to try and hold onto people and things that seem to leave our lives, but we must learn that sometimes the things God removes aren't meant to go with us where we are headed. It's like this when someone gets a promotion at work they don't get to bring everyone working alongside them to the next level with them. That's how it is in life, you sometimes want someone in your life so much that you ignore the fact that they were meant to be there for a season and not forever. Today, remind yourself that just because God removes things doesn't mean you're being punished, sometimes it's his protection and other times it's for your true purpose in life. God's plan is better than your plans could eve...

God Is In Control.

“And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭8:28‬ ‭ What God has for you is for you, nothing can stop what God has for your life. You have to come to a place where you stop trying to make things happen how you want them to. Sometimes you must tell yourself to stop manipulating the situation and let what God wants to happen simply happen. We sometimes fear not having control so we take things into our own hands. You have to learn that God is in control of the wind and the waves, and He most definitely is and is worthy of control of your life. I used to be fearful that what was meant for me wouldn't still be there when I found it, but that isn't how God's plan works. The Bible clearly says that God causes all things to work together for the good. Today, let God be God! What is meant for you will always come into your life without you having to manipulate the outcome. ...

He Will Provide.

“And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others.” 2 Corinthians‬ ‭9:8‬ ‭ We often times try to put God on a timetable. We think God has to have a lot of time to do things we are praying for, but He doesn't work on our timetable. God doesn't need time like we do to accomplish things. The entire world and all the things in it were formed by His words, in 7 days. All it takes is God to speak for Him to change everything you're praying about. Stop questioning if God can do it in the amount of time that you need, He can! I have seen times where I have needed something and I questioned my faith if God would do it, and the day of God came through every single time. Today, remind yourself that God has provided for you every time you've needed Him to and He always will. Here are some verses to reflect on today. ““That is why I tell you not to worry about everyday life—whether you have enough f...

Prayers Need Faith Behind Them.

““You don’t have enough faith,” Jesus told them. “I tell you the truth, if you had faith even as small as a mustard seed, you could say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it would move. Nothing would be impossible.”” Matthew‬ ‭17:20‬ Your prayers can move mountains. The Bible says if you have a mustard seed of faith it can move mountains. A mustard seed is so tiny it's almost impossible to see. We sometimes think our faith is large and that we can do anything with that faith, but when it comes down to saying a prayer are you truly believing in your heart that God can and will do it for you? You have to truly believe in God and that He will do anything you ask if it is a part of His will. When praying you have to put faith behind it. You cannot pray for something without backing it up with the faith that it will happen. Today, whatever you're praying for believe that it will happen. Believe with all of your faith that God will do exactly what it is that you're ...

You're Changed.

“This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!” ‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭5:17‬ ‭ When you find a real relationship with God then you will change. The Bible says you will become a new creation. When we get baptized we are being cleansed of our sins, which is so beautiful. When I was baptized, I was young and the first thing I said was, "I feel like a new woman." That's how it feels when we grow in Christ, get baptized, and receive the Holy Spirit. We are changed on the inside. There is this song that they often sing at my church that says, "I may wear the same clothes, have the same name, but you're looking on the outside if you could see inside instead, you would see a brand new man." When people from your past see you they would think that you still fit in where you used to. It's an adjustment to realize when we change we often don't fit in with the same people. We are changed from the ins...
